Ethian softly pats his son's bum as he watch the little one sleeps. He missed him so much that he ran from the hospital. His family might be in chaos right now but he's too tired. And he miss his son.

His eyes went looking at the back of a woman who has been taking care of his son all this time.

I'm sorry I couldn't tell you anything yet. I can't risk the possibility that you might run away again.

His heart stung every time he remembered things that happened in past few months. He wasn't the type to run from his responsibilities or problems, but he's a human too. And everything was too much so he needed a break.

That's why he ran when he got the chance. Only his personal assistant, Demian knows where he is now. Thanks to him, Ethian managed to find Claire after she went missing on track two month ago.

"I've prepared your room. Come I'll show you," she speak in a thin voice, not wanting to wake Theo up. He followed her to a room across the living room. This apartment is quite luxury to be honest. The fact that she could buy this with her own money is impressive.

Everything was so minimal and neat, from the furniture and decorations. There's few paintings hanging on the wall. All in different size and shape.

"Here is the guest room. It's not much but comfortable enough," she said. He walked into the room, there's a bed in the middle of the room, a walk in closet and build in bathroom.

"You should rest now. We'll discuss everything tomorrow okay," she said. Her arms were gesturing to take Theo from him but he hesitated.

"Can Theo sleep with me tonight? It's my last night to spend with him," he asked, eyes seems to beg which made Claire almost cry. She never seen a man loves his child this much. At least until now.

"Ethian. You can stay here for as long as you want, until you ready to go face your problems and solved it like a real man," she said, leaning her body against the door frame. His face lightened up again, making her chuckle.

"You know what, even though you didn't talk much, you expression did everything. Come, rest for now. Plus Theo wake up every three hours for milk. I can't let my guest do that, even though you're his father," she replied, taking Theo into her arms.

He nods. "Thank you Claire," he said, forming a smile.

"You're welcome."

Ethian squinted his eyes as the sunlight penetrates slightly in between the opening of the curtains. He reached for his phone and turned it on. He switched off his phone since he left the hospital.

The brown eyes glanced at the clock hanging on the wall. It's a quarter before 9. His head and body felt lighter than last night. Claire's right, he just need a rest to think straight.

After popping a few bones and stretches some muscles, he walked out from his room. He could smell a nice homemade food from the hallway. Claire was cooking in the kitchen, singing a song he never heard of but in a familiar language. Her slender figure is dancing slightly as she moved from the fridge to attend the pot.

He formed a small smile unknowingly. It feels so long since he had a very calm morning like this. He couldn't even remember did he even had a nice morning like this ever since he need to take over his father's business.

"Oh you're awake? I made breakfast but you need to wait for a while," she said as she saw Ethian taking a sit on the usual bar.

"It's okay. Thanks by the way," he replied, smiling slightly. Claire smiled back before she reached for a cup and a container from the fridge. Her movement is so swift it looks like she's used to this.
