monster high fanfiction

chapter two

(of course if you've seen the episode or movie "why do ghouls fall in love" then you know Valentine the main bad guy that was used his power to steal and break ghouls hearts. Well other than being a total @$$ like that i thought he could be an interesting character if he tried turning over a new leave and this is just fanfiction so why not lol)

Valentine, ever since the incident at draculaura's sweet 1600th birthday it's been hard for him to make any friends or even for any one to trust him at all. He never transferred away from Monster High because he had hoped with hard work he could change how people viewed him, but he was forced to be a loner no one seemed to want his company no one except one ghoul...one who wanted to fight for his attention but usually was too shy to even say hello to him.

Marina sighed dreamily sitting near the back of her horror literature class, though they were reading one of her favorite stories her eyes watched the black and red haired vampire who sat along the wall, the seat in front of him, behind him, and next to him empty as if he was in a bubble of solitude no one dared to break.

Soon the bell rang for the the class to end, and most students went rushing out. Manny the Minotaur nearly trampled marina as he left, she stumbled out of his way as her ankles gave and she fell scattering her books and papers. She sighed softly as the classroom emptied and gathered her things. She reached to get her last book from under a desk when another pale hand grabbed it from the other side.

"S-Sorry but thats my b-......" Her face heated up when she saw valentine standing over her. She quickly looked down again as she stood dusting herself off. "Here." He held the book out to her, she hesitantly took it."t-thanks sorry for the trouble." She said quickly and turned to run away when his voice stopped her. "Are you hurt?" She slowly looked back at him to see he generally looked concerned.

"I-I'm ok, I'm used to being walking disaster." She mutters. He actually chuckled a little,"I wouldn't say that, it was an accident." " Yeah i guess." She smiled blushing faintly. The teacher spoke up asking them to leave. Valentine grabbed his things,"Would you like to continue this conversation in the creepateria?" She nodded quickly as they left the room.

~moments later in the creepateria~

Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Ghoulia sat at their usual table waiting for marina while discussing how they'd convince her to take the potion or sneak it in her lunch. Marina never came to sit by them, she wasn't sitting with gil and lagoona either, then they saw her walking with Valentine to the empty table at the back. She followed him with a dreamy expression on her face. The ghouls first thought was valentine was back to his old hypnotizing tricks, and they had to help break the spell.

Marina and Valentine sat down to eat. "So how long have you been at monster high?" He asked drinking the blood substitute the creepateria provided. She blushed softly surprised by his question he didn't recognize her. "Um well I-Ive been here for a couple months." She said softly. "Really? My apologies for never approaching you before, you seem to be a very kind hearted ghoul, no one else usually wants to talk or sit with me. "

She looked down at her plate to hide her blush,"Thank you, You don't seem as bad as the rumors I've heard Valentine." "Well I used to be but I'm passed that now. " He smiled. "Now what was your name darlin' ?"She nearly chokes on air even though the pet name wasn't meant in an endearing way. "Its uh....its Thorn." she said softly she felt guilty for lying but he might have recognized her real name. He smiled as he started eating his lunch. She smiled and took a sip of her soda not thinking it would taste different to her new form but.....it was terrible. She tried to keep it down, it would be embarrassing to spit it out so she swallowed, but she couldn't help it, "s-sorry excuse me!" She said quickly leaving the table and ran out of the room heading to the restrooms.
