Chapter three

After lunch Frankie, Draculaura, and Clawdeen spoke with Gil and lagoona filling them in on what has happened to Marina. "Since you guys have been her friends longer than us we thought maybe you could talk to her?... plus she might still be angry with us from this morning..." Frankie asked the two aquatic ghouls hopefully, and they agreed and went to look for her.

Marina walked out of the restroom on shaking legs starting down the hall when she met up with Lagoona and Gil. He frowns and gently put a hand on her shoulder to help her steady herself, "Marina you.... You look awful." Lagoona shushed him before looking at her, "Mate are you feeling alright?" "I-I'm fine... Lunch just... Didn't agree with me. " She sighed and tried to keep walking.

"Marina, your not yourself....." Gil frowns,"the other ghouls say they have a cure to help you get back to your old self. " He smiled reassuringly. She looked up at him with a soft glare,"why does everyone want me to change so badly?...." Lagoona frowns, "Your not meant to be this way your making yourself sick mate. Clawdeen told us you need to drink this. She handed her the small bottle of potion. Marina frowns studying it.

"Thorn?.... Sugar are you out here?" A certain smooth talking vampire called. " Whos he talking about i don't know anyone by that name?" Gil said as he and lagoona look around there weren't many monsters in the hall at the moment. When they looked away marina slipped away going towards the male vampire. "I'm here val." He smiled as she stopped in front of him. The two aquatic ghouls sighed going to find the rest of their friends.

"Sorry I ran out on you ....I guess I just got a little sick." She frown. "Its ok, here I brought you this." He assured her and hands her a cup of the blood substitute drink from the creepateria. "Uh thanks...." She took it studying it not too sure about it.  "I noticed your plate when you left, kelp salad and soda? kinda an odd choice for us vampires. There are some of us who have become vegetarian like my...ex, but it's a difficult change to make."

" Y-Yeah....I was just trying it." She lied again. "Its ok, just be careful. You may want to drink that before your next class, I'll see you later ok?" He waved as he walked away.  "Ok thanks again..." She waved back and once he was gone from her sight she tasted the blood substitute. It tasted more like a cherry smoothie. She smiled softly walking to her next class.
