KENNY P. O. V. :
I watched Alex lay on my bed, her shirt rising up. With her black hair flowing down her back and over her arm, my fingers itched to run through it. Her hazel eyes met mine, a smile crossing her face and one grew on my own when I stared at her beauty. Jumping onto the bed next to her, my hand pushed her onto her back while my body hovered over hers. My white shirt moved her black one, making it show off her piercing while her sleep shorts clad legs intertwined with my own. Her 5 foot frame molded with my own, but I wanted nothing more than to press my lips to hers. It's wrong I love her especially since Nate has a crush on her but I can't help it. I've known her so long and I can't live without her.
"Get away." She teased.
"Why do you always say that?" I felt the hurt in me.
She looked away, practically telling me with that simple gesture.
"I don't want to fall for you. It's cliché and all, but I can't lose you. Relationships only end in heartbreak." She explained.
"Not all do." I disagreed.
"I've seen it happen all the time."
"It could be different with us."
"Do you feel something for me Kenny?"
"I don't want to get rejected."
"Neither do I so answer my question."
I looked away before she made my eyes meet hers again.
"I love you, Alexandra. And it hurts that you want nothing to do with me romantically." I admitted.
"I love you too. I just don't want to ruin our friendship." Alex stroked my hair.
"If I had wanted to ruin our friendship, I would've done something stupid a long time ago."
She smiled again, warming me. Our lips met, being the most amazing thing that had ever happened.
"This is so cliché." She pulled away, laughing.
"What isn't these days?" I shrugged.
Her laugh was contagious, resulting in me laughing as well before I placed my lips back on hers.
