I ran down the stairs and looked around the house that we shared. Before I could even open my mouth to speak, a pair of secure arms slipped around my waist and I froze. You chuckled, your breath warm against my neck.
Raising your voice, you called out to the seven waiting boys, 'She's here!'
Felix peeked out from his room. 'Finally!'
My hand slid into your warm ones without me even noticing─at least, not until you tug at it. Before I could react, you were pulling me towards the door again, this time with the rest of the boys following close behind.
'Come on kids─before we miss the movie!' Chan called back at the remaining boys.
You pulled me in for a small hug and I raised an eyebrow, masking my thumping heart with an amused smile.
Even then, you didn't know.
