Three Months Later

Y/N's POV
My mom wanted to stay with me, but she had her own responsibilities at home she couldn't ignore. I had Emma and some movers get my things from Scarlett's and went on to do things I wanted to do for a change. I started writing again since I was an avid writer back in Grad School.

"Y/N, five minutes til showtime." a producer tells me.

"Alright, I'm ready," I tell.

I walk out to the set and sit down on the couch as Jimmy Kimmel gets his mic worked on.
"Alright, Ms. Y/L/N, here's your mic." one set designer tells.

I nod to them as they hook my mic up.
"So are you nervous?" Jimmy asks.
"No."

"It's alright if you are. Being on a good tv show and seeing my gorgeous face can be nerve-wracking," he says.

I tried not to giggle at the notion of him being scary and shake my head.
"I've done a lot of tv shows and movie gigs. I think I'll  be okay." I tell.

He nods at my determination as a producer calls for quiet on set. He counts down and we start.
"Hello everyone and thank you for joining me in another episode of the Jimmy Kimmel show, with yours truly. We have a special guest with us tonight. Please welcome, Y/N Y/L/N." Jimmy says.
Everyone in the audience cheers as the camera pans to me and I smile.

"Y/N, thank you for coming on," Jimmy says.
"Thank you for having me, Jimmy," I tell.
"Now you have been the leading lady in Martin Ivy's films of Spy Love, Traitor and Thieves, and Lord of the Dawn. How do you feel about making it big after only starting out in commercials?" Jimmy asks.
"I was grateful to be able to audition for the part of Spy Love and how much the fans loved the film as a whole. When Martin asked if I was able to audition for other parts, I immediately jumped at the chance to show my talent wasn't wasted." I tell.

"I like that answer. So, besides the fact that your staring in Emmy nominated films, you've also written a book," he says.

"I have written a book. It is on New York's Top Best Seller in young adults." I tell.
"That's right folks, "How to Date a Celebrity", has made #2 in the Young Adult category. Why don't you tell us a little bit about the writing process." he asks.

"It's not like how you think it might be. There's no how-to guide of gaining the attention of your celebrity crush. Even I don't know how to do that. It's about a young woman making her way into Hollywood, dodging paparazzi, and doing everything she can to make it big. She eventually finds love in a well-known celebrity she's had a crush on since she first sees them." I tell.

"Ooh, spicy!! Is there anything in your book that you took out of your own life, or is this pure fiction?" he asks.
"There may be some of my perspectives here and there. You'll just have to read it to find out." I tell, winking.
"You've heard it here folks. "How to Date a Celebrity" is out now to buy and everyone in the audience will be able to take home their own signed copy of the book. We'll be right back after this commercial with a little game of Wheels of Impressions." he tells.

Once the producers signal that we are on a commercial, Jimmy loosens his tie and little and signals for some water. One of the stagehands brings two bottles of water for both of us and we take a long drink.
"Y/N, you're doing beautifully on camera. Just a little make-up touch and you'll be good." my make-up artist tells.
"Do what you need to Janet," I tell.

She touches up my make-up and we go on with the show.

Scarlett's POV

I was sitting on my bed, watching Y/N's interview on my tv while Rose sleeps on my lap. I sigh as she talks about everything in her life so far. I look at the door as it opens and reveals Jeremy coming in.
