3. Born to Suffer

I woke up in a very white and bright place , yes, I know this place very well, it's the hospital, why am I here. Someone enter, a very nice looking nurse, am so curious of what's going on here.

"Mam, pls why am I here" I asked the lady.
"Dear, you fainted immediately the death of your mother was announced to you, so you were admitted here"after she told me what landed me here , i remembered the shocking death of my mother , who was beaten to death, and I'll make sure I do everything possible to revenge her death, but what bothers me is ,how?

"Dear, your step father has already been here to pack up the corpse of your mother and infact she has been buried since two days ago, Accept my condolence dearie"the nurse told me. I felt betrayed that a wasn't allowed to greet or even see my mother for the last time

"How ? When? Where? What is going on... My own mother?, That man would pay for this!" I shouted at the lady.
"Darling calm down am sure it wasn't his fault, you were in a slight coma for about two weeks now, he couldn't afford to keep her in the mortuary, take heart dear, may her soul rest in perfect peace" she explains and consoles me as a wept bitterly .
" All will be well, I can assure you, calm down and stop shedding tears so as not to worsen your current condition " she consoles me after she has injected me in my arm.

After a while I felt all dizzy,i figured out I was injected with a sedative so as for me to rest my body and am glad it worked.

I was woken up by the doctor who was checking me up.

"Young lady, you'll be discharged any time soon, so your step father is ready to pick you up" the doctor pointed at the devil who killed my mother who standing right in front of the door.

"Pls doctor , I don't think am ready to go home now" I begged the doctor so I don't have to go to the lions den called my house.

" Am afraid you have to go, 'cos your step father here as signed all the nessecary papers , so you're ready to be discharged.., you've such a caring and sting step father here and  I'll advise you to try and make him happy since your mother is gone, take care of yourself as well , bye" the doctor said and left the room. Nice indeed, less a man more of a devil.

"Am sure you just heard what he said stand up right now and let's go home , I will leave the room right now to give you some privacy and also remember to pack all that belongs to you because i do not have any time to waste here, meet me at the parking lot when you're done" he said in a very devilish manner before he exit my hospital room.

Now am on trouble, I stood up immediately , went to change from my hospital uniform to the clothes he brought for me.

I went inside the rest room thinking hard to plan my escape cause my definitely not going back to that house the monster tagged my stepfather.

Sooner or later after about 2 minutes which feels like two hours , I have a brilliant idea, I walked out of the rest room, carried my bag and packed all my belongings before heading downstairs to look for the nurse that I met the other time.

"Hey , ma'm pls can I have a word with you?I asked her politely and humbly

"Sure, darling" she said in a very nice manner.

I lead her to the hospital room that I was admitted earlier .

"Ma , I'll like to discuss a very personal problem to you, that man you see that calls himself my step father, killed my father , my mother , abuses and rapes all the time he even uses me as a sex slave to pleasure his other colleagues pls help me , I don't want to go back to him" I spiced the story do that I'll look pathetic and the women might likely help me meanwhile a said it as fast as possible because there is no time on my side.

"So, what do you think I can do to help" she asked me looking at me like as if am loosing my mind.

"Ma'm,here is what you'll do for me, I will like you to help me with a smooth escape , and you can also do me a favour of accommodating me for a while, about my other belongings don't bother yourself I'll look for a way to get them within a few days 😥😓pls ma kindly help me , I am in need of your assistance" I said all that like I am in a speed debate desperate yo win.

"I do understand you and I'll try to help you just give me a minute to make sure the way for us to plan a smooth escape without your stepdad noticing us at all, just wait here , I will be right back" she said as she exits the room, looking all serious.

I just thank God that I have been able to convince her to help me. I never thought if could be this easy, but I guess my mother's spirit is actually fighting for me in this situation.

I paid my back down on the bed feeling all comfortable 😴 💤 when I heard someone enter , I expected it to be the nurse alone but when I sat right I saw three people standing in front of me including my step dad and that is when and I realise that I an big trouble.

"Doctor, I don't think this young woman is well enough to be discharged , because she just claimed that, the man that claims himself to be her  step father, killed her biological father ,  abused her mother till death , abuses and rapes  her all the time he even uses her as a sex slave to pleasure his other colleagues,that I should pls help her  , that she  did not want to go back to him"

I shook my hand over my face in dissapointment 🤦🤦I just wondered how I planned all this out with a tool like her , I always thought she had sense and that she's very smart but now , I guess my assumption is ironical, I some should consider her dumb , I'll see it as an understatement.

"Doctor, I think she has lost her mind ,  why a  girl, I always took as my daughter say this against me , I pamper get day and night, get father even died before I surfaced in her life, I don't think , she's alright".

"No problem sir I guess we would keep her here for a while before considering discharging her "."young lady how many fingers are these" I showed me two fingers performing a brain test on me

"Two" I looked at him awkwardly , it's like they all think I am losing my mind, which am not, a new problem is welcomed now , am officially hospitalized.

I was kept in the hospital for about 2 weeks before I was finally discharged.

I packed my luggages inside the Booth of the car I hopped into the back seat,

And then we drove home.

"Bitch, i want you to go to the kitchen now and make me some food am starving , make sure you Clean the kitchen, when you're done you are to do my laundry and wash my car and if you need me am at the yard trashing your mother's remains"  he commanded me more like am a slave that is parentless," well am an orphan 'cos he isn't even worthy to be tagged my stepfather, I hate my life now, am sure this is the end of everything, what kind of life am a born to live,am a born to suffer, I just give up and put everything to the hands of God, no hope, no mother, no father, no school, no care"I kept soliloquizing till I got to the kitchen.

On getting to the kitchen I couldn't believe me eyes, It was  dirty, smelly, scattered, full of unwashed dished and rotten remains. I remembered that I left here clean before rushing to the hospital, am so dissapointed , weak and tired .

I clean the kitchen and also the whole house to disallow further disturbance from my stepdad , I served his food and I ate mine in the kitchen, am so glad that am done for the day and I deserved rest am so tired.

I started walking up to my room in quietness the my step dad attacked me from the back and since I was weak and tired I couldn't fight back.

"Don't let this be like the last time , give yourself to me and you'll enjoy me, also remember that no one will rescue you so I'll advise you not to make any annoying noise " He threatened me...  I was to weak, tired , cold, helpless, and sick. So I have to surrender to this son if a bitch.

So once again am being raped.
