"Hi, welcome to the flowers of fey, Please let me know if you need any help!"

Add another one to the tally, thats one more old lady. I don't how I'm going to explain to my supervisor that the customer profile today was solely the elderly.

"I don't suppose by any chance you have any rosemary left?"

"I've got just  enough left for one bouquet, would you believe me if I told you you're the 12th person today whos asked for rosemary?"

"Oh yes, I imagine all the other flower shops in this area are running low as well. The vampires are coming you see."

My hand froze over the stems I was gathering, "Vampires?"

"Yes, every year this time a group of them come to this town. Legend says one of them is looking for their soulmate." 

"Thats... creepy. Why the rosemary though?"

"It wards off vampires."

"oh..."

I didn't know what to say as I gathered the ribbon samples and showed them to her,

"The blue one will be perfect dear~"

It was silent in the shop as a clipped off wild stems and neatly tied the ribbon.

"That'll be R315/$20."

She shakily took the bouquet and smiled at me before carefully taking out a few individual flowers and laying them on the counter.

"You'll probably need these more than me dear. I doubt any vampire will go around wanting to be my soulmate, but you?"

She shot me a wink and shuffled out.

"What just happened?"

 It's safe to say that by the end of the day I was thoroughly freaked out.

It didn't help that it was a quiet day, leaving me with nothing but my spiraling thoughts. Now all I could picture is a vampire sweeping me up and taking me away before hyunjoon could even pick me up.

"Ok enough. This calls for a flower crown."

Now this, I can do. I work in a flower shop for gods sake. Having some thing thats in my control does wonders for the bitch that is my anxiety.

With shaking hands I put the crown on my head and shuffled my hair around it.

What? I may be scared but beauty knows no limits.

"Welp its now or never I guess... off I go"
