WASSUP LADS, tis I: depression central.

So I am well aware that no one cares but I feel like explaining why I fell off the face of the earth.

It was a 2 part collaboration between crippling depression and disappointment in myself (What's new)

In act 1 we have bipolar to thank. I had my mania a month or so before my depression really hit and when my depression stages hit, they hit hella hard. Especially when there's a relatively longer time span between my mania and depression. But, if you're worried, I am perfectly fine! This is just something I have to deal with, normally I'm alot better at handling it but with 2020 as a whole and exam stress it was just all a bit overwhelming. But yes, I'm ok.

Part 2 was the real doozy. And this is where shit gets relevant to the story so ah

If you read anything from this ramble, it should be this.

I was really upset with how much I'd mucked up the mental health part of this story, especially since my main goal was to learn and portray it hopefully somewhat accurately.

For awhile I was contemplating just deleting the whole story and pretending it didn't happen, but I realised that that wouldn't be helpful at all.

So the first thing I did was think back on what is based the hallucinations on. They were based on hallucinations the girl I shared a room with at a ward experienced. I couldn't remember the name of what she had and it was seriously frustrating to try and sus out something similar to what she had.

I eventually found something that I can't say is exactly the same as what she had, but it does mostly line up with the planned effects.

So the basics is the changmin in this story has a neuropsychiatric disorder caused by a gene that was passed down to him from his parents.

The symptoms of the disorders would have been worsened by PTSD and the development of the disorder (sort of like the speed in which symptoms appear) will also be faster.

That's all I'll say now but if you're interested in getting specifics I will be rewriting the chapter that explains what causes this changmins symptoms.

But yeah if you're someone who just wants to read a watpad story then this won't really affect anything so... don't worry too much about this word dump.

I'm posting this now by itself but tomorrow I'll have a new chapter ready to go so pls look forward to it :)
