Chapter 1

"I'm gonna be late for work," said an office lady as she hurried to get on the train. Barely missing the train, she sighed and stared outside the window of the cabin bracing for the long the day ahead. After arriving at the office, a tired Yoohyeon got immediately swamped by work. "Arrgh, what it is with this amount of paperwork, this will be the death of me," said Yoohyeon who's working through her seemingly never-ending stack of work. Hours passed and Yoohyeon was finally finished w/ her work. "Ah today was too much, this job is not working for me anymore", Yoohyeon sighed to herself.

'I'm an office lady like the thousands of others but I'm still young so it's natural. I still have gripes about my job and with other adults. I don't understand how to make things right, so I'm growing distressed, body, and mind. The way I look at it adults are just a bunch of people who go "whatever" at everything. I'm just not fit to be a part of society.'

Minutes later Yoohyeon arrived at her home, "Hey, I'm home." Yoohyeon said as she entered through the door. "Damian? You here?" Yoohyeon is confused by the silence that permeated the room. There she found a figure lying on the couch. "Hey Damian, babe, wake up" Yoohyeon uttered as she approached the person sleeping. "Babe, don't you have work or something?"

"Hey babe welcome home, what time is it?" asked a half-asleep Damian.

"It's already 8:15 pm babe, don't you have work today?"

"Oh shit, I have and I'm already late"

Damian hurriedly got up and prepared for work.

"Damian, babe aren't you going to eat first?"

"No babe I can't, I'm really late. I'll see you later babe"

"Alright, take care Damian, I love you."

"I love you too." Damian kissed his girlfriend goodbye as he went off for work.

"Sigh we don't really have the time to do something together" a peeved Yoohyeon muttered to herself. Yoohyeon then got cleaned up and got ready for bed, forgoing having dinner. The whole week passed by and the monotonous routine of her work took a toll on Yoohyeon and her relationship with Damian.

"Oh you're up early babe, do you wanna go somewhere today?" Yoohyeon asked Damian

"Can't right now babe, I have to go to the office later"

"But today's Saturday babe, do you really have to go to work?"

"Yeah, there's this project we have to finish, I'm really sorry"

"It's ok babe, what time are you gonna be done then, baby?'

"I'll be coming home late, sorry babe; I'll make it up to you tomorrow."

"Oh I see, should I prepare dinner for you?"

"Its fine babe, we're going to have a company dinner later."

"Oh, see you later then babe."

"See you later babe, love you."

"Love you too babe."

"Sigh, I'm alone all again" Yoohyeon muttered.

"I feel bad for leaving Yoohyeonie alone again" Damian muttered to himself "but this is for her"

Yoohyeon was lazing around when her phone suddenly rung *bzzt* *bzzt*

"Hello this is Yoohyeon speaking"

"Yoohyeonie!!!!! Hey, are you free right now?"

"Dami-ya!!! You never call! And yes I'm free today."
