Prologue
“Alaric, do you think I could name her?” Isobel said quietly.
“Sure” He said. After a minute she whispered into Alaric’s ear. “Welcome to the world Katherine Isobel Saltzman. This is your wonderful mom and I’m your goofy dad”
Katherine looked up at her parents and had a small smile that looked so cute on her newborn baby face. He couldn’t help but realize her gorgeous blue eyes, her small hands, and her dirty blonde hair you could already see.
“Isobel did you still want to give her up for adoption or did you rule that out?” Ric asked.
“I already know she has you wrapped around her finger so, we are keeping her… no matter what” She replied back. Isobel couldn’t get over the fact that her daughter is in her arms and will stay that way. “I love you Alaric”
“I love you too Isobel” Alaric said.
