✰ ✰ ✰ amelia and scott were your average twin siblings from birth, they were each others best friend and that's all they needed. there parents marriage wasn't the best which led to their divorce 6 months ago and scott and amelia were seperated, scott moving out with their father and amelia staying behind with her mother, the twins were heartbroken that they wouldn't see each other every day anymore but they knew it was for the best.
the sound of amelia's alarm woke her from the repeated nightmare that she couldn't forget. mornings were one of the many things amelia reed hated and anybody who knew her would agree. climbing out of her bed amelia headed to the bathroom to do her usual activities which would prepare her for the day ahead.
entering the kitchen she watched as her mother placed her breakfast on the table. "good morning hunny, how did you sleep?" she smiled, "i slept alright, thanks mum".
halfway through her cereal her mother told her how she would be staying with her father for the next year, amelia was over the moon and couldn't stop smiling and texted her brother to tell him the news.
