A blonde boy walked to the door of his apartment with heavy steps, he's fuming.

He received a lot of stares on the way, maybe because he's drench in red paint, his hair completely red and his white sweater-- God, his favorite white, fluffy sweater-- will never be the same ever again.

Jimin entered his flat, noticing that the lights were already on. His flatmate must be home already.

"Jimin?!" And there he is, gaping at him in mid step with a bowl of cereal (at five in the afternoon) and dressed in a plain red shirt and sweatpants.

"Well, by all means please continue staring at me like I murdered twenty people." Jimin sarcastically replied while rolling his eyes.

He made his way to the bathroom when his flatmate hastily grabbed hold of his wrist to stop him. He pulled Jimin into the kitchen, not even caring that he's making a red trail on the floor. He put his beloved cereal down on the counter and looked at the younger with a how did you end up looking like that look.

"It's not a big deal, Hoseok. I was just passing by people who were painting the new building on my way home when one of them suddenly lost their balance and the paint was dumped on me." Jimin answered like the sticky liquid on his porcelain skin didn't bother him.

Because it didn't bother him at all anymore. It's been years since he accepted that he's just plain unlucky. He understood some people are truly lucky, blessed while others not so much. And to his dismay at first, he's on the downside

But that's fine, really fine.

"Aish, please be extra careful. You're making me worried without intending to. And don't forget to text me where you are." Hoseok paused, giving Jimin a comforting smile. "Just in case of emergency."

Jimin's not stupid, he knows what Hoseok means, just in case something really bad happens to him and he's certainly not talking about birds dropping their shit on him.

"Stop worrying Hyung. I'm not gonna disappear any moment soon. It would take a lot of effort until I'm out of your hair." Jimin decided to take it lightly before their conversation goes deeper.

"Alright, now go wash yourself. Geez you really look like a serial killer from those low budget movies where fake blood is obviously fake."

Jimin just chuckled lightly while heading to the bathroom.

"What's for dinner? Can we have meat?" Jimin excitedly plopped down on a chair, still drying his wet blonde hair with a small towel as he watched the dark haired boy cook. "I haven't eaten meat in like two weeks."

"That's because meat is pretty expressive and I need to work two jobs at the same time to raise you all by myself." Hoseok scolded playfully although his smile faltered a bit when he realized what the last part actually meant.

Raising Jimin all by himself.

"But at least my second job is actually paying me more than enough so your little tummy shouldn't worry about not getting fed." Hoseok continued, still had his back facing the short boy as he stirred the kimchi stew with meat. "I'm going to visit your university."

He could hear Jimin scoff loudly. "Yes and I know I won't be seeing you either. You'd probably be too busy sucking my professor's dick to actually look for me."

This time, Hoseok turned to look at him while clutching the wooden spoon tightly, he looked like he's debating whether to hit Jimin with it or not.

"For the last time! And this will be the last time I'm telling you this! Yoongi Hyung and I are friends. Close friends if you wanna be specific. The next time you're saying that, I'll shove this spoon down your esophagus."

Hoseok turned back around to continue cooking dinner and Jimin laughed at his reaction. He definitely knows something is going on with Hoseok and his philosophy professor.

When the elder finished cooking their meal, Jimin set up the table and they both ate quietly at first before Jimin decided to bombard Hoseok with questions.

"Hyung, you never told me about your other job and I noticed you're actually getting paid well with it considering you're not so subtly spoiling me these days."

And there it was, just like Jimin expected. The fain twitch of Hoseok's left eye every time he mentions the other job. But that disappeared as fast as he first saw it and was replaced with Hoseok's sunshine behaviour. He looked excited.

"It's just my hobby. I'm tutoring. They're usually kids with rich parents so they give me a more than enough tip. They said I'm the only tutor they had that doesn't make their child burst into tears." Jimin smiled when he saw how proud Hoseok is when he explained his new job to him.

"That's because you act like a child!" Jimin giggled, his eyes forming into crescents. "They probably think you're their playmate rather than their tutor."

"It's fun and it makes me less stress. Luckily I'm really good in science, that's the only thing I can teach and we made miniature planets yesterday."

Jimin just continued to smile, he loves seeing the other happy. It's like he can actually see beams of sunlight through the glass window even if it's nighttime.

"What do you want now?" Taehyung pulled his hair out of frustration. "Can't you see I'm taking a nap?! And you're not welcome in my flat, that greatly applies in my room too!"

"But I'm hungry. Well- I technically can't feel hunger-- But I want to eat! It's been a long time since I did." Yuna-- The ghost, grabbed Taehyung's ankles.

Taehyung knew ghosts can only eat or change clothes if the owner gave them permission to. And he's too tired, it's already 11:26 and there's a ghost at the foot of his bed begging him to give her permission.

"Do whatever the fuck you want, I couldn't care less. Just let me sleep in peace and make sure not to burn the house down!"

He can hear a squeal and the opening and shutting of his door before hearing the cabinets in the kitchen and the fridge getting raid. He knows he's gonna kick her out soon, he only needs her for information.

He need to get his hands on that marked boy, he smiled evily at the thought.
