Chapter Five

"That's a lot of subscribers," I say as I sip my hot chocolate.
Joe and I got to know each other pretty well. He was telling me about his job, he's a YouTuber along with his sister Zoe, or known as Zoella, and many other YouTubers, he also told me about his career in thatching, hence where he got his channel name, "ThatcherJoe."

Joe smiles at me, "so what did you do back in Canada?" he asks.
"I worked in a videogame store, just graduated from high school, and did a lot of drawing in my free time," I shrug.

"Maybe you could draw me sometime," Joe chuckled.

I smile, "maybe"

"I had a great time, thanks" I say to Joe as we arrive at my doorstep.

"Anytime," he smiles at me, gives me a quick hug, and walks off. Just as I'm about to walk inside, I hear him shout my name, "Becky!"

I turn around, "yes Joe?" I ask, grinning.

"Can I maybe um, have your number?"

I put my hand out, "sure, give me your phone."
He hands me his phone, and I type in my number, "there ya go," I smile at him.

"Thanks, see you later," he winks.

Minutes later I receive a text from an unknown number, which I'm assuming is Joe.

'Hey neighbour xx'

I replied, 'hello famous boy ;)'

I could just imagine him chuckling at my lame response.

'Haha, I had a great time hanging out with you :) xx'

I couldn't help but smile, he was so sweet and cute.

'So did I :)'

With that being said, I hopped into the shower. Once I was out, I got ready for bed, and dozed off.

First update of 2015! I really appreciate you guys reading this! It's probably just as cliche as every other fanfic but oh well, I actually enjoy writing about this :) also, I'm pretty sure I seen another fanfic with the title "Girl Nextdoor" so I was thinking of changing it, I don't want anyone to think I'm stealing someone's story! Any ideas? :)
