Chapter Nine

Joe's POV

"I dare you to kiss Joe"

I froze up and turned a bright shade of crimson as Becky made her way over to me. She plopped herself in my lap, and leaned in until I could feel her breath on my face. Next thing I know, I'm kissing the beautiful girl who I had fallen for.

Becky's POV;

I slowly got up from Joe's lap, gave him an apologetic smile, and turned around and walked into the kitchen. I thought to myself, 'wow, that was awkward.'
I heard someone come into the kitchen, I turn around and it was Joe. I could feel my face heat up.

"Hey," he says to me as he rubs the back of his neck and looks down at the floor. "Hey," I pause, "I'm sorry about all, that," I say as I motion my hands to the living room.

He just smiles, "don't worry, I enjoyed it," he winks. I started blushing uncontrollably and let out a small giggle.

He then walks over to me, and I look up at him, he smiles and snakes his arm around my waist, pulling me in closer. "I know we haven't known each other for long, but I really like you," he whispers to me.

My breath hitched in my throat, "I like you too," I said. He then leans down and kisses me, our lips moving together passionately, until there was a loud 'ahem' at the door. I giggled as I realized Zoe was watching us.

"How about a double date night?" She asks excitedly. Joe looks at me and smiles, "Becky, would you like to go on a double date with myself and Zalfie," he smirks. I giggled at his attempt to be all fancy, "of course," I smile.
