~Becky's P.O.V.~
As the girls and teenagers ran up to us, I started to freak out. I guess Austin sensed it because he reached down for my hand. He squeezed it then signed a bunch of different things. After that, we went to Subway.
"You know, you're completely safe when my fans mob us, right?" Austin asks.
"Excuse me, you just put 'mob' and 'completely safe' in the same sentence." I tell him. He laughed at me and I smacked him.
"So? It's true." Austin said as he rubbed his arm. "And damn girl! You hit hard!"
"Thank you." I smile at him. He rolls his eyes and we walk back out. When we get to my house, we watch Disney Channel.
"So now what?" Austin asks. I shrug.
"I don't know." I say. We continue to watch until we get bored. "Let's go dance in the rain."
"Really?" Austin asks. I smile and grab his hand. I pull him outside to our back yard and start to dance around. Austin laughs at me.
"Come on, lazy!" I yell. He runs at and we start to dance around the yard.
"I have an idea." Austin says. He gets his phone and grabs the speakers that are right inside the door. He plugs them into his phone and blasts music. We usually keep speakers right by the door for when we're outside and want music but we're too lazy to go inside and search.
"I love this song!" I screech over the music. I start to dance and sing loudly. Austin comes and dances with me. Soon we fall to the ground and laugh.
"You are an amazing girl, Becky." Austin says. I turn on my side to face him.
"What do you mean?" I ask confused.
"You're funny, energetic, and beautiful. Nothing can stop you if you want something. Even an almost six foot boy. You can always make someone laugh and have an amazing voice." Austin says.
"What are you saying?" I ask, still confused.
"I guess I'm saying, I love you and want you to be my girlfriend. Will you?" Austin asks turning to face me. My heart stops at his words. I can barely do anything so I just nod. Before I know what's happening, me and Austin are kissing. I hear a car pull up into the drive way and jump back.
"Yes. But my mom can't find out this way." I laugh. He looks around and we get up.
"Hola Mrs. Gomez." Austin smiles.
"Hola Austin. Hola mija." mom says. My mom uses as much Spanish as she can still. Only, I try to do English. I'm trying to learn more English while my mom's trying to keep her Spanish.
"Hola madre." I smile at her. She walks into the kitchen and we go outside. "I'm going to Austin's house, madre!" she nods and we walk across the street. We walk into Austin's house and go into his room.
"Your mom does like me, right?" Austin asks.
"Uh..." I say.
"She doesn't." Austin concludes.
"No. Not exactly. She kind of does." I say.
"She really doesn't, does she?" Austin asks. I shake my head.
"I think she'd like it if you acted more like the Spanish men." I tell him.
"No way!" Austin yells. I laugh at him. "What's so funny?"
"My mom loves you! She's gonna be perfectly fine with this." I tell him. He sighs in relief then smacks me. "Ouch! What was that for?" that really hurt.
"You liar! You had me scared!" Austin laughs. I fake a laugh but really, all I can think about is the burning on my cheek.
"Yup." I fake smile.
"Becky, what's wrong?" Austin asks.
"¿Por qué me ha tocado? Usted sabe que está mucho más fuerte que lo que realmente me duele. Habían marchado Austin, que golpear más fuerte que yo." I tell him.
