Chapter 31

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Fuck." Karma mumbled under his breath, staring at Ritsu's corpse laying on the bloody ground before slamming his clenching fist on the wall. "Fuck! How could this happen? Those bastards, I won't fucking let them get away with this!"

"Oh my geez!" Irina shrieked when she arrived in the area, her eyes quickly formed tears as she kneeled down, reaching out to Ritsu. "W-what happened?!"

"We were alarmed by the others that you've ordered to lock up the mansion. What's happening here?" Karasuma asked, standing near his crying girlfriend.

Koro and Hiromi stood beside the enraged devil, ignoring the big crack that appeared on the wall caused by him. Koro straightened his posture, clearing his throat before answering: "As you can see, Ritsu is dead. The mansion was meant to be locked up because the rat is on the loose, so they can't escape and we'll have the chance to corner them. Luck is not on our side since they successfully abducted Nagisa and Isogai."

"I fucking hate this situation." Hiromi said, gritting her teeth.

"Then where's the others?"

"They went to investigate for a while. But I'm sure they'll be back any time now." Koro answered.

Just after he finished talking, the rest of the group came back with some news. The five of them glanced on the hallway as they heard multiple approaching feet thumping on the ground. Karma removed his fist from the cracked wall, ignoring the stinging pain as the anger and anxiety dominated his system. He couldn't brush off the feeling of fear for his Nagi-chan's safety, and add the fact that there's a small life inside his stomach. He can't stop getting worried for the two of them.

"Speak." He commanded, coldly.

Ivy nodded, getting to the point. "The rat escaped through the backdoor. The men in that area didn't know about your words, leaving it open for the enemy to leave with the victims. A couple of dead bodies were found on that place."

Hiromi nibbled on her nails, trying to calm down. "What a bunch of fucking idiots, should've killed them from the first place."

Karma inhaled deeply, counting mentally to keep himself sane. He needs to focus, and think of a possible way to retrieve his beloved boyfriend and unborn child as fast as he could. "Maehara, have you tried calling Isogai's phone?"

The mentioned male flinched, you could easily say that he's also frustrated about everything. For fuck's sake, his boyfriend got caught up in the mess and now gone, he didn't even know if he's still alive or not. He nodded, preventing himself from crying infront of them. "Yea, he won't pick up. On the sixth call, he's unreachable. They probably destroyed his phone."

"Quite amusing, they knew we could track them down using Isogai's phone." Koro said.

"But now that we can't reach Isogai, how are we suppose to hunt them down?" Irina asked, sniffling as she cradled Ritsu in her arms, not caring if she's bathing on her mafia mate's blood.

Karma growled, pulling out his phone from his pockets as he unlocked the device. Everyone's confused gazed was focused on him, don't have any clue of what he's doing. A couple of seconds have passed, everyone felt shivers down their spine as they saw the evil glint on Karma's mischievous eyes.

"Get ready." He stated. "We're going to save them."

"Do you know their location?" Hiromi questioned.

"Yea," Karma shrugged. "The ring that I gave my Nagi-chan was in fact, a tracking device. It's for safety precautions, I'm just glad that he never removed it. That way, we would know where they were imprisoned by the enemy. Let's just hope that those idiots won't notice it before they could destroy the ring."
