A Romantic Folly

Chapter 7

I wake up. I check my phone and it's 9. Liam has texted me. Twice.
Liam: hello sweetie
Liam: are you up? Sorry if I woke you!

That was half an hour ago! Shoot! I quickly text him..
Angela: sorry I'm late, traffic was hell! Lol I was actually sleeping :/

Liam: do you have any plans today?

Angela: not that I know of!

Liam: I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie with me! We could invite Ashely and Nick and it could be a group thing! Not that it was going to be a date 0.0

Angela: yea I'll ask them txt me the dets!

I forgot about Ashely. She's going to be really angry.. Well I'll ask her anyway!
Angela: hey guys! We have been invited to see a movie with Liam! Anyone interested??

Nick: yea I'll come

Ashely: have fun without me :/

Nick: why can't you come? Can we find another time?

Ashely: I don't want to hang with people who hate me. >:(

Angela: we don't hate you! :*

Nick: yea that's impossible!

She never responded. It really upset me but she ways set in her ways. I just needed to give her some space! Meanwhile, I ate breakfast and texted with Liam and Nick. We were to meet at the theater at 1:30. We were seeing a new movie, I couldn't wait!

After I was done eating I took a quick shower. Then, I put on a rocking outfit! I was wearing leggings, doc martins and a white lace skirt. My shirt said something about a Disney princess on it.

"Hey guys!" When my brother dropped me off they were already there. Nick have me a little hug and I waved shyly at Liam. He looked really cute! His blue button up made him look really dressy, so the black sweatshirt made it a bit more casual. Nick was wearing a regular T-shirt...

We walked in and bought our tickets. Walking over to the snack bar we decided to pool our remaining money and get some Sour Patch Kids and M&Ms! We took our seats and I ended up sitting between the two boys. This was going to be great!

Nick was on his phone, probably texting Ashely, while me and Liam got into a thriving conversation about SuperWhoLock. It was amazing to find a guy who actually had the same interests as me! Maybe I wouldn't die alone...

"Omg! Hey Liam! Fancy seeing you, uh, guys here!" It was here. The devil. LIAM BACK AWAY! GET ME SOME SALT! Why didn't we get popcorn...

"Oh. Hey Taylor. Nice to see you too." I was glad that he wasn't excited to see her, does that make me a bad person?!

"Well, I'd love to sit with you guys," she takes a short pause, but quickly continues after seeing she isn't wanted, "but it's sort of a girls day with my friends over there! See y'all later! Liam we have to hangout sometime this week!" Then she skips away. SKIPS! Like, who the hell does that? I sigh and turn to face the screen.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing! It's just.. Do you like her?" I can feel my heart beating as I wait for the answer.

"Are you kidding? Her?! God, when she came over here I was wishing for some salt to through at her!"

"THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING! I just thought you guys were, uh, beginning something since you are always talking in the morning."

"Oh yeah. She talks to me every morning so I'm like stuck. She only talks about herself though. I think she wants to be in a relationship but I have no interest in her. I've got my eye on someone else," then he nudged me. Ohmigod this kid!

Before I had a chance to answer the movie started. I was glad the lights dimmed because I couldn't stop blushing!

We sat through the rest of the movie in quiet. It was really great! After the movie we walked outside.

"I'll see you later guys. I'm going over to Ashely's to try to convince her I still love her. You guys have fun though!" Nick had just left. I was alone with Liam.

"Umm.. Hi." This was awkward.

"You don't have to stay I could go home. I won't mind." I could tell he would mind though. So I decided to stay. To spear his feelings nothing more! Okay that's a lie... YAY!!!

We walked around town just talking. We got to the park and sat on the swings.

"We should do this again!" He suggested.

"Yeah. Totally!" Did he mean dates? Was this a date? Are we dating?!

"So.. Is this a date? Or do we still need a- I mean if you want to! Are we- uh.." He stammered. Wow was I really having this conversation?

"If you wanna be... I mean, I don't think this is a date so, yeah." I nervously replied. We had stopped swinging. "Well.. Do you even want to date me?"

"Yes! A lot!" Really? He did? Is this a dream? I don't feel a pain in the side of my head, I remember every event of the day... Guess not! (Doctor Who taught me that!)

"Really?! I want to date you but I thought I'd never have a chance!"

"I thought I wouldn't have a chance with you! Well Angela," he jumped off his swing and got down on one knee, "would you date me?"

"Yes! Of course!" I managed to get out in between giggles. I can't believe this is happening!

We walked around a while after that, but I soon went home. That night as I laid in my bed a thought came to me.

I'm dating Liam

How will Ashely react? Will she be happy for her friend, or still hold a grudge over the texting? ONLY THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL TELL!!!!
