I was back at my place, surrounded by my gang. Miles had already told Xavier and the others that I'd left, and surprisingly, Xavier had been understanding. He still agreed to help us, though I knew that meeting tomorrow would be necessary. He deserved that much—a proper conversation. I was torn, but I couldn't stay away from the man I truly loved.

I sat on the edge of the bed, Mila peacefully asleep beside me, the soft rise and fall of her breath a comforting sound in the quiet room. Callum was in the shower, the sound of the water flowing a constant background noise, and it still felt surreal that he was here with me, in this space, so close.

I couldn't help myself. I stood and walked toward the bathroom, the steam swirling in the air as it escaped through the gap in the door. His outline was visible through the glass, the shape of his muscles and the way the water cascaded over him, making him look even more incredible. He was such a beautiful man, and it wasn't just his physical appearance that made my heart race. I had fallen for him long before I ever saw him like this. His personality, his strength, his kindness—those were the things I loved most about him.

We had never gotten the chance to truly explore each other in this way—no stolen moments, no rushed touches. And yet, somehow, it didn't matter. What we shared went far beyond physical desire. But I could feel the heat between us building, the way my body responded to the sight of him, so close, so real.

His head popped out of the steam with a playful grin, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You joining me, freckles?" His voice was low, teasing, and it sent a shiver down my spine.

I couldn't help but laugh, the sound light and full of affection. Slowly, I began to peel off my clothes, his gaze never leaving me. I felt a thrill rush through me as I became fully aware of the intensity in his eyes—desire, admiration, and something deeper. I stepped into the steamy embrace of the bathroom, the warmth of the water and the pull of his presence making everything feel right.

His hand reached out toward me as if waiting for me to take the next step. My heart raced, and I didn't hesitate. This was more than just a moment—it was a new beginning, and I was ready to fully embrace it.

I stepped into the shower, the heat from the water surrounding us, mixing with the steam that filled the air. Callum's eyes never left me, a mischievous grin tugging at the corner of his lips as he reached for me. His hand gently cupped my face, his thumb brushing over my cheek as he leaned in, his breath warm against my skin.

"You're even more beautiful than I remember," he whispered, his voice husky with desire. His lips met mine in a soft, teasing kiss, and I melted into him, my body pressing against his, feeling the heat of his skin against mine.

I pulled away just enough to catch my breath, my hands sliding over his chest, tracing the lines of his muscles that were now slick with water. "You always know just what to say, don't you?" I teased, my fingers brushing against the small droplets of water running down his body.

Callum's eyes darkened with an almost predatory look, his grin widening. "What can I say? I'm just that good," he said, voice dripping with humour and confidence.

I laughed, shaking my head. "You are incorrigible," I said with a playful roll of my eyes.

He leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear as he spoke, his voice a low, seductive murmur. "You know you love it," he teased, his hands now sliding down my back to pull me even closer. "And I love making you laugh. But if we're being honest... I love everything about you."

The words hit me like a wave, a rush of warmth flooding through me. He made me feel so cherished, so alive. It was more than just physical attraction; it was the way he made me feel like I was the only person in the world that mattered.
