The Proposal

The flight to New Donk City was going to be a long one but you were a bit prepared mainly to give the Smash Bro's conference your proposal on Min Min being next fighter for Smash and not for the flight because it'll be your first time on a plane.
"Son you'll be fine you give all you got!" Your father says to you as he and your mother were there to see you off.
"Thanks dad..... Hey is that?"
You see a familiar blonde girl running up to you in a orange track jacket with black sweatpants with her signature ramen bowl beanie.
"Did you think I was not going to see you off?" Min Min smiled at you as your parents gave you both a smirk.
"I honestly didn't know what to think but thank you for coming." You returned her smile before she hugged you which you gladly returned.
"When I come back you'll also be in Smash."
"And I can't wait for that news!" Min Min did a power pose showing her excitement.
Once you entered the terminal you gave the group a big hug before heading out on the plane. When you entered the plane you were surprised they had a spot for you in first class with your other two coworkers so you packed your bags in one of the compartments as you kept your backpack with you and sat on the table overlooking your reports and review the material your going to give the conference.
"Hey (Y/N) first time riding first class?" One of your coworkers asked as they sat in the table seat in front of you.
"On any plane really this is all new to me."
"I can imagine as being the youngest organizer/coordinator in this business your work during the winter event provided impressive numbers that came close to last years grand prix its no surprise they'll choose you for this conference. So who are you representing?"
"I mean its quite obvious Joseph..... What about you?" You held up your Min Min watch as you wrote something down on your notebook.
"Oh yea I forgot your close friends with the Ramen Bomber. I'm representing Helix." This surprised you as Joseph was usual a twintelle fan.
"Wait why didn't y-"
"I asked Twintelle's agent and she pass the word on for me but she said she wasn't interested but Helix's agent came to me interested in the opportunity."
"I doubt both of your fighters will make the roster as Ninjara is the best candidate." Your other co-worker joined the conversation sitting next to the both of y'all with a deck of cards.
"If memory serves me correctly Yu; Ninjara got slapped by my Ramen Bomber a couple of days ago." You and Joseph laugh as Yu shook his for he didn't have a comeback.
"You guys want to play some poker?" He opened his deck of cards shuffling it.
"Sure... (Y/N)?"
"Its a long trip might as well I don't want to give myself a headache worrying about my proposal." You put away your folder and journal as Yu handed the cards out as soon as you guys took off you headed to a window where you waved goodbye to your family and Min Min once again.

Min Min's POV
After saying goodbye to (Y/N) his parents left and offered me a ride but I declined as I had to prepare for my fight tonight so I went to run around town before my match against Master Mummy after of few hours of running and training I went home to get ready as today's match was at Ramen Bowl.
"Hey sweetie good luck on your match today!"
"Thank you Mom!" I waved to her as I was about to make my way to the square she stopped me by grabbing my shoulder.
"I forgot to ask how did it go with (Y/N)?"
"Mom why are you smirking like that?"
"Oh c'mon Min Min I know you like him mother always know."
"W-what that's ridiculous I can't think about that right now I need to go."
"We are going to talk about this later sweetie!"

After getting set up in your room you immediately turned the Tv on as it tuned into Min Min's fight against Master Mummy.
"That's who she's fighting!? Wait she's using RamRam and Dragon she's got this and looks like Master mummy is favoring Megatons on both arms; Min Min you got this just don't get hit."
As you watched the fight you were smiling as Min Min was in full control of the battle keeping the pressure on Master Mummy forcing time block as he had trouble with her RamRam doing an awful job blocking it as Min Min also grabbed him out of block. The fight was long as Master mummy kept healing but couldn't land a single blow as he was trying to tire her out however it proved to be his mistake as she landed a critical blow on him using Dragon and kicking on of his Megatons back at him knocking him out.
"Another complete knock out by the RAMEN BOMBER!"
"YES THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT LETS GO MIN MIN!"
"HEY SHUT UP IN THERE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!"
"Oops." You smiled as you sat back down continuing to watch for the interview they'll have for Min Min while looking at your proposal for the conference you have the next morning.
"So Min Min your in the finals now with 6 win streak but as fans noticed you seem to be playing out of your mind today any particular reason."
"I wanted to win this fight for a friend of mine as he is working extra hard for something really important So if he's watching right now I want to let you know YOU GOT THIS!"
You look up at the TV with a smile on your face as your worries were suddenly laid to rest with your friends words and smile as she wave at the camera screen with a big smile on her face.
"Thanks Min Min your awesome." As you shut everything down in your room you crash for the night setting the alarm on your phone for early in the morning.

You woke early in the morning as your alarm went off you saw a couple of missed messages from Min Min and your family which didn't concern you at the moment as you got ready for the day walking to the Smash Building where the the conference was going to take place in an hour as you were very early so you decided to text Min Min back as you took out a ramen packet you prepared before you headed out.

After replying to her message you felt a sudden breeze as it got stronger when you began flying only to have your hand be in something as your on the floor you looked up and saw the adorable pink ball Kirby
"Oh my god I almost got eaten by Kirby himself...."
"Poyo......" Kirby spits your hand out as it looked up at you making sure your ok.
"I'm fine it's a real honor...... oh you ate my ramen packet...... that's fine I have another if you want it. I'll just have to heat it up."
"POYO!" grabbing your hand the pink ball of innocence dragged you to what looked like a break room inside the smash building as it took out a pot for you.
"You want me to prepare it here for you?"
"Poyo." Kirby points to you and him which meant he wants you to make it for you both.
"Ok I might not be as good as Min Min's Ramen but it'll be something."
As you began making which didn't take long as it was packet ramen you see Captain Falcon, Mario, Link, Megaman, and Fox.
"So Mario how do you think that conference is gonna go?" Fox asked as he sits next to Kirby.
"It's always different like when Bayo was added at first it made us all excited and then we all found out how dislikable character in this roster."
"Yup." Everyone nodded.
"Poyo!"
"Oh hey Kirby what are you doing here?" Captain falcon asked as he looks at the pink ball.
"He sorta brought me with him when he almost ate me. I'm (Y/N) Wakagen it's a pleasure to meet all of you." You give Kirby his massive bowl of Ramen as the others get a whiff of it.
"I have more here enough for everyone here..... I think."
"Hey I know you your the youngest coordinator of the Arms office. I looked into your work at the winter festival you did a very good job young man." Mario said as he accepts a bowl from you.
"I didn't realize I made that much of a name for myself." You looked at the group in shock as famous characters knew of you of all people.
"Your here to give a proposal on a fighter I can't wait to see who that is." Captain falcon said as he finishes his bowl.
"Well my boy I'm heading to the conference right now if you want to come with your more than welcome to." Mario said as he collected everyone's bowls as they finish except for Kirby for obvious reasons.
"How can I refuse?!"
You and Mario headed to the conference a couple of minutes before everyone as you both get to your seats and you pulled out your folder you spent so much time reviewing and preparing for thia moment as you suddenly felt a hand on your shoulder when you saw its Mario.
"Good luck out there." You nodded as you took a deep breath and waited for the conference to begin.
As the conference began you were the first to represent as Mario and most of the Smash Agents introduced you as you were the one everyone had there sights on making you a bit nervous yet also determined; you started the proposal how you rehearsed it giving the people facts about Min Min's fan base how popular she is within the community and how consistent she's been at recent events and her current winning streak as well and you also noted how her friendly personality would go well with the other fighters in the Smash Roster. After answering question they had about Min Min none personal but professional you easily answered them which cane to a surprise to them.
After an hour at the conference you sat outside of the smash building taking a deep breath as it was finally over and now your worry would be if they accept your proposal or not as Yu's and Joseph's proposal also went really well as they had experience and after the conference they both went to go hang out and didn't invite you as you were "too young." To be doing what they are going to do.
"Hey (Y/N) Wakagen right?" A familiar voice said as you look to where the vkice is coming from and it was Captain Falcon and Kirby walking up to you.
"Y-yes sir!....  How can I help you?"
"At ease I know your trying to be professional but its ok to be a fan sometimes. Nice job on the proposal."
"Wait you guy's watched it?"
"Everyone in the roster did and I have to say I think everyone is excited for your girl most of all."
"I appreciate it Captain. Is there a noodle shop around here I can go to?"
"Nope sorry."
"Ok I'm going to take a look around its been a pleasure." You bow as you head off if your bag strapped around you as you took a look around the place as you saw stuff you normally wouldn't see back home.
"Maybe I should grab this Kirby doll for Min Min its not as adorable as the real one but its still cute...... Speaking of which." You took out your phone as you see its from Min Min.

"Oh yea almost got eaten by Kirby though."

"Glad your ok hey when will you be back?"
"Tomorrow my plane leaves at 3 in the morning so I'll be waking up early. Why do you ask?"
"Well That's for you to find out 😊 I have to get going were about to have a lunch rush ttyl bye!"

You smile as you put away your phone.
