Beca had been in college for two months now and she was hating it already. None of her teachers really liked her either. Partly because she would always show up late and act like a rebel. But the darkest side of her day was that she once had tried out for an A Capella group, just to do as her dad had said too, try new things. She did not get off with a very good start with her 'boss lady' as she had called her only because she hated that of course. But her real name was Aubrey and her right hand woman, who was also apart of the group, was named Chloe. Everyone in the group had to admit that they loved Chloe more than Aubrey. There were two other A Capella groups on the campus, the Treblemakers and Pentatonix. Aubrey had strict rules that nobody could date anyone that was associated in those groups. But in Pentatonix half of the boys they had were either gay or bisexual.

"What are you doing", Aubrey had been talking for 45 minutes now Beca didn't find anything she was saying interesting or related to their arrangements and them winning regionals. She was just yelling at everyone telling them that they either needed to lose weight or sing better.

"No, I think the real question that should be asked is what are we doing just sitting here when we still have to practice more, especially since we have a concert tomorrow", Aubrey just stood there surprised at what she had to her.

"Well, if you feel that way then maybe you should just leave".

"Listen I'm sure you need me way more than I need you", there was an awkward pause of silents because she had nothing else to say.

"This session is over you all can leave now",Chloe then started to comfort her saying it would be okay. But Beca knew that she had little faith in this group. Aubrey gave Beca a death stare on her way out.

On her way out she saw Pentatonix practicing. Beca thought that it was cool that they only had one girl. She had been starring at them long enough. She didn't even notice that she had been starring for a while not long enough for them to see her and beacon her over to their spot under the tree. Which they did. Once she finally got over there they started asking her all these questions, that was top secret and only for the Barden Bella's knowledge.

"What is your name", the girl asked she was very pretty, Beca thought. She had dark brown hair and bangs now. She changes her hair color a lot.

"What is your real hair color", Beca asked trying her. The whole group laughed. Beca wasn't even trying to be funny.

"Know one needs to know that okay..........oh your name is Beca. I know I see you in class sometimes. If you even show up",'crap she saw my name tag!', I thought to myself.

"Hahahahahahahahah", the whole group started to laugh at her jokes. Beca didn't find them all that funny.

Beca's POV

I was sort of feeling them out at the moment. I had sat there long enough to know a lot about them. Their names are Kirstie, Mitch, Scott, Avi, and Kevin. And they are actually pretty nice.

"So are the Barden Bellas ready for regionals", Mitch asked. I was quite fond of him because he was kinda funny. He was the gay friend every girl wanted to have.

"Not even close. I'm seriously thinking of quitting", I said. I wasn't gonna hold back the truth. That's what I'm good for. I'll tell you the truth no matter how much it hurts.

"Oh well you can always join our group, just let us know and give us a call", Avi had given me a card it had all if their names and numbers on it.

"Thanks, I surely will think about it", I smiled then walked off and they went right back to practicing. I was jumping up and down on the inside. 'Now Boss Lady will be begging on her knees for me too come back', I thought to myself then smiled once again.
