I have very supportive friends that accept who I am. I haven't run into many people that are like what and then suggest me to read the bible (yes that has happened once) My best friend came out around august last year as bisexual and I was so happy for her. I have decided I won't bring it up with my parents again until I move out. They accept people but it takes them a long time and since they're Baptist and our church tells us to basically only be straight and if your not its a sin. After I realized I wasn't as straight as a stick as they expect me to be (I'm more a scribbled circle if I had to pick) I noticed all the homophobic things they would say. So soon afterward I considered myself an atheist. I recently got into Wicca and so I'm looking into that. Also for me, I believe my preference is girls. Because while it takes a while to find one attractive, after that the crush just lasts longer than it would for any other gender.
