He felt hot sweat form pearls on his forehead, meanwhile the drops made his shirt stick onto his back. He panted out as his eyes cracked open and he immediately rubbed on them. They felt a little dry - he cried them out during his sleep.

"Finn... Are you up?" The young Philip's shadow reflected on the wall in the morning sun, as his voice was barely audible. Poor thing, he got scared during the night, hearing his big brother's screams - nowadays more and more frequently. "Did you have a nightmare again?" He immediately got an answer in form of a nod - it encouraged him to step into the cold room for a hot second. Finn seemed ill, as he always did.

Philip found his mother in the kitchen, making breakfast. With a smile on his face he approached her and hugged her from behind. His little arms were barely reaching around her waist, but he hugged her as tight as possible.
"Oi there champ, you're squeezing all the air out of your momma" She laughed, panting out forcefully, which scared the little boy a little. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt his mom.

Breakfast time was always lively, the family seemed really happy. The mother, the father and the two boys bound together. Everything was fine.

Fine

Fine fine

"You can't save him"

"Where are you?"

-----

"Fuck!" Finn exclaimed, waking up to a harsh noise, that woke him up from his vivid nightmare. The doorbell.

"Coming!" Rushing out meanwhile trying to put his pants on wasn't a good idea. Tripping over his own legs, falling and getting up before reaching the door, as he put on a dirty shirt he found on the way. The bell kept ringing and ringing which drove him crazy. "Stop already!" He yelled just when the sound stopped. The house echoed with his voice, as it seemed like he was alone. Strange, he thought.

There was nobody at the door when he opened it. Only a yellow envelope on the floor... It was empty.

-----

Philip didn't know where he was until the lights turned on inside his room. He felt lost for a split second, and he didn't know who he was really just until the moment he saw his brother's face. Then he remembered everything.

Everything.

"Look at you, having nightmares like I did in your age..." Finn said, pushing up against the door frame with his shoulder.
"I wasn't having a nightmare... I just had a dream about the future. It was like I was a different person... Like if I was...-" Philip couldn't finish his sentence.
"...Like if you were me? Now you know the feeling."
"Huh-"

The lights suddenly went out, but came back just as fast. Only difference was, that Finn was gone.
