As the girl looked around she sighed, her partner was late and she really needed his help to finish the design she’d been working on. Her name? Taylor Swift.  Taylor had been working so hard on the interior design she and her partner Ed Sheeran had been assigned. But did he help? No. He just sat there and claimed he was supervising. Taylor thought he was a funny guy, but she just couldn’t find it in her to trust him. He had recently taken up singing whenever he was supposed to work. He claimed to be ‘sick’ but that wasn’t the case, and everyone knew it.

A man with dark brown hair by the name of Sam Smith watched as his best friend Taylor fretted over her partner Ed not showing up on time. Sam wanted to pummel the guy for taking so long, Sam hated Ed. Ed Sheeran had a knack for making everything in his wake so complicated that it left everything changed. In fact everything had changed for Sam Smith around the time he first met Ed. Sam had dropped out of college to work at Starbucks, because he needed the money to stay in his flat. Taylor was his best friend and seeing her so worried scared him, she was always so relaxed and laidback, but now she seemed more stressed out. After all Taylor was an interior designer and her job wasn’t the easiest. Slowly approaching Taylor each step Sam took towards her became more and more hesitant.

A ginger by the name of Ed Sheeran frowned; Taylor wouldn’t need his help finishing the design. So he decided to ditch the meeting. Calling his boss Simon Cowell, Ed ran through the lies he had told him. He knew exactly what to tell him now.

“Hello? Mr. Cowell, I’m not exactly healthy yet. I’m still sick.”, Ed easily lied.

“You’ve been sick all month!”, Simon barked.

“I know sir, the doctor said I should be able to come to work in two days.”, Ed said while throwing in a cough for dramatic effect.

“I’ll send Taylor to your flat then, you both better have finished that design by tomorrow or you Sheeran will be FIRED.”, Simon told Ed while putting emphasis on the word fired.

“Alright Simon, I’ll work with her today then.”, he said before promptly hanging up the phone.

Simon looked at the previous designs Ed and Taylor had made, suddenly he pushed the button to alert his secretary. She walked in.

“Yes Mr. Cowell?”, she asked sweetly. Simon looked at the photo on his desk.

“Amanda can you send in One Direction please.”, Simon questioned. Her smile faltered and the room seemed to get about ten degrees colder.

“Of course.”, Amanda said as she briskly exited the room. Suddenly five figures emerged from the shadows, Simon smirked.

“You called?”, a man by the name of Niall asked.

“Oh yes, it seems one of my employers has been skipping out on his job.”, Simon said.

“So?”, a man by the name of Harry questioned. Simon looked at the group of men he had trained to be his own…ninjas. Body guards. Weapons.

“I don’t appreciate being lied to.” ,Simon explained.

“So….”, Louis trailed off. Simon’s right eye twitched.

“I want you boys to do something to teach him a lesson.”, Simon stated. Zayn raised an eyebrow.

  “And that is?” ,Zayn asked.

“I want you to send Ed Sheeran into… The Lego Movie.” ,Simon stated. One Direction gasped.

“Have mercy! Why can’t we just attack him with ninja stars and nunchuks?” ,a man named Liam exclaimed.

“He has tested my patience for the last time.” , Simon said as if stating the obvious.

“Ok.”, One Direction said as they all shrugged. Then they set off to work.

As Sam Smith finished making the popcorn he put it into a bowl and brought it to the couch with him. Taylor finished putting a disc in the DVD player and the movie started, Ed had decided to ask Taylor to come over so she would become less stressed. And it was great, they talked and her mind became less and less focused on all the work that had clogged her mind for days. They were watching The Lego Movie when suddenly a familiar Ginger popped up on the screen.

“Funny.”, Sam mused, “I don’t remember seeing him in this movie.”

As if the ginger on screen heard them he looked in their direction and mouthed two words. “Help me.”
