Seth's POV
Nikki strutted right past me as I stepped out of the locker room. She was clearly still pissed at me from last night. About a week ago was our anniversary not as in a relationship type thing but a celebration for us being best friends for a really long time. It was a cute idea of hers and I agreed to it and it would have been the first celebration of many years and I messed up,by forgetting all about it. I was to busy hanging out with a few guys from work at the bar. I knew I was forgetting something but I just couldn't figure out what it was.
The moment I opened up the door to her hotel room, seeing her sitting on the floor with stray tears flowing down her cheeks, it all came rushing back to me. I tried to console her the best way I could but it wasn't working what so ever. The fact that Nicole gets extremely emotional only made it harder. She gets so sensitive and it kills me because I don't enjoy to see her sad. She ended up throwing the gift she got me, which was a teddy bear and a new watch, at me and kicking me out of her room. Shit isn't even the word to describe how I feel right now.
Ever since then she has been ignoring my text messages and my phone calls. She has been walking around work ignoring me, as if she never knew me. She stopped escortng me to my matches and when I try to escort her she makes up excuses and gets someone else to do it. So much has happened
I want to make it all better but I don't know how. I ran out of ideas. All the ideas that I came up with are stupid and knew for a fact it wouldn't be good enough. Damn it.
"Nicole come on I said I was sorry" I pleaded as I started to follow after her. She continued walking, ignoring what I just said. I reached out for her arm and lightly pulled her to me. She stopped walking and looked at me as if I was crazy. She tried to snatch away from my grip but I pulled her closer to me.
"Please just say something, you haven't spoken to me in days" All she did was raise an eyebrow at me but kept quiet.
"What do I have to do to make you forgive me?!" I pleaded basicaly running out of options. She just scoffed and yanked her arm out of my grip. She adjusted the title on her shoulder and waked away from me. That was her way of telling me to figure it out. Frustration raced through me as I pushed my locker room door open and walked in, slamming it behind me. I threw myself back on the small couch and ran my fingers through my hair. Now I have to come up with all new ideas and hope for the best because I plan to get my best friend back tonight.
After about twenty minutes of brainstorming a bright idea came to me and I know it will work. It just has too. I shot up out of my chair and wented to my gym bag and pulled out my phone and started to make a few phone calls. Time to put this plan in motion. Thank God I already had my match. Hopefully this works.
Nikki's POV
I pursed my lips and got myself pumped up for my match against Paige. It was a little fantasy of mine to have a match against her and I finally get to have one. I know this mstch wil be good because she is so talented in the ring.
Brie patted my shoulder and I gave her a soft smie. "You ready?" She asked.
I playfully glared at her and smirked. "You know I got this" She just smiled and looked up at the small TV screen above us. As she watched the match that was going on rght now, I looked at the ground with a slight frown. What happened last week just keeps going through my head. How could Seth forget something like that? It was something I knew I just wouldn't shut up about. It was a cute idea for us to have an anniversary for our friendship. I had a little dinner thing set up right in the hotel room. I decided to repsect his wishes and not do a big dinner at some restauraunt.
