It was really just a lake and some trees, but to her, it was more beautiful than anything in the world. Emerelda had recently gotten back from the village. She would go back to her mother for comfort until her mother left for food and didn't come back, leaving her alone. She was really sad. About a week had passed and she still had no food. She decided to go out of the forest and to the humans one more time for a chance of food but could barely walk.
