『 Childhood Sweethearts 』

Prologue

Izuku Midoriya was a "strange" child. Everyone is born with something called a quirk, which essentially gives you a power. Midoriya, however, was not born with one. He was one of the few people in the world that was born without a quirk. Because of that, he was bullied. He was considered weak and worthless because he is quirkless. Midoriya has been bullied his entire life and doesn't have any friends to even support and help him during it all. Right now, all he has is his mother.

Ochako Uraraka is the kind and loving girl. She's loved by all because she's so kind to everyone and tries her best to help everyone she can. She has a quirk called "Zero Gravity", which allows her to basically make anything weightless or make them float. It also helps her help others at times.

One day, at the playground, Uraraka is playing around with her friends when she notices a small boy with green hair sitting by himself by the swings. She excuses herself from her friends, so she can go talk to the boy.

Uraraka: "Hello. What are you doing out here all by yourself?"

Boy: "I don't have any friends here, so I usually sit here by myself."

Uraraka: "Oh. Well, I'll be your friend!"

Boy: "R-Really? You'll be my friend?"

Uraraka: "Yeah! My name is Ochako Uraraka. What's yours?"

Boy: "My name is Izuku Midoriya."

Uraraka: "That's a nice name! C'mon, let's play together. I'll see if I can introduce you to my friends, as well! I'm sure they'll be accepting and be friends with you."

Midoriya was on the verge of tears at this point. This was the first time anyone had been nice and accepting of him. Yeah, she didn't know that he was quirkless yet, but he still hopes that she'll remain friends with him when he does tell her.

Midoriya: "Hey Uraraka, I have something to tell you that you should know."

Uraraka: "What's up?"

Midoriya's nerves started acting up now. He didn't want to lose his new friend and his only friend.

Midoriya: "U-Um.. I-I am uh-h.."

Uraraka: "..You okay Midoriya? You seem nervous.."

Midoriya: "Y-Yeah, s-sorry."

Uraraka: "It's alright! You can tell me whenever you're ready to. Whatever it is, I'm sure nothing bad will happen."

Midoriya: "O-Ok. Thanks Uraraka."

Midoriya was overcomed with relief. She understood that he didn't really want to tell her yet, and reassured him that they'll still be friends. He hopes that they'll stay friends forever, regardless of what happens.

Afterwards, the two friends went off to play together until it was time to part ways for the night and head home. It's safe to say that this day was one of the best for Midoriya.
