『 Childhood Sweethearts 』

Chapter 1

After his fun first day with his first friend, Uraraka, Midoriya headed home with a big smile on his face. He enters his home and sees his mother, Inko Midoriya, cooking dinner.

Izuku: "Hi Mom!! I just had the best day in the world today!"

Inko: "Oh, did you? What happened today?"

Izuku: "I made a new friend, and she's my very first friend too! She's really nice and fun to play with!"

At this point, Inko is crying tears of joy for her son. She's known that her son has been bullied and outcasted all his life because he's quirkless. To hear her son so excited and happy about his first friend is amazing.

Izuku: "Mom..? Why are you crying? What happened?"

Inko goes down to Izuku's level and holds him tightly while crying.

Inko: "Nothing happened baby.. I'm just so happy for you. I bet that this friendship that you have with your friend will be a long and happy one."

Izuku: "I hope so! I want to be friends with her for forever!"

Inko gives Izuku a kiss on his forehead, lets go of him, and stands back up.

Inko: "I'm glad. What's this girl's name?"

Izuku: "Her name is Ochako Uraraka. I met her at the playground today after school!"

Inko: "She sounds like a lovely girl. Is she in school with you too?"

Izuku: "No, I don't think she is.. I think she goes to another school."

Inko: "Oh, alright. Hopefully you'll be able to stay in contact with her. Now, get ready for dinner."

Izuku: "Okay Mom!"

With that, the Midoriya household spent the rest of the night happy, and excited, for Izuku. They can't wait to see what is in store for the future.

(**The Next Day**)

The next day at school, Midoriya arrived at school with a big smile on his face, still remembering the day he had yesterday with Uraraka.

???: "What you smiling about, weakling?"

Midoriya's smile quickly fades away once he hears those words. He's in school, which means he has to deal with the bullies. A bunch of different people bully him for his quirklessness, but there's one kid that goes to the next level with the bullying. His name is Riku Azrail. Azrail is one of the many school bullies, but one of the few that are actually intimidating to others. He started bullying Midoriya when he found out about his quirklessness.

Midoriya: "What do you want, Azrail?"

Azrail: "Ah, nothing much really. Just to kick your ass again. That's all."

Azrail always ended up fighting Midoriya and beating him up. He also always traveled with his group of friends, just in case someone would try to fight back. With him, were 3 others. Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Eijirou Kirishima. They don't really support the bullying, but they stay around just to help out. Bakugo, however, has some history with Midoriya. When everyone found out that Midoriya was quirkless, Bakugo had a hard time dealing with that. Midoriya and him were good friends, and they both planned to become heroes together. Since Midoriya is quirkless, Bakugo drifted from him and kept his distance. Now, they're like strangers.

Azrail turns around and looks at the 3 other boys to chat with them before facing Midoriya again.

Azrail: "You guys know why he was smiling so much?"
