A suspicious pirate boy

Y/n's P.O.V

I sit on a hay bail and Isis stands next to me on the ground "ahh when is he gonna get up??" Isis shrugs "I don't know..!"

I sit like a somewhat empress from Korean dramas I watched at home, the pirate groans and wakes up "ayy me head..." I look at him "who are you?" He looks up and for some reason squirms "aye, the names gonner lass!"

Me and Isis cross our arms "why did you attack me?" He only smiles like nothing happened "aye, I just wanted to give ye a scare lassie, never meant harm!"

Me and Isis looks at each other "how can we trust you?" The pirate chuckles, I raise an eyebrow and find a axe next to me, I grab it and throw it making it land next to his head

He gulps "if I was a threat I would have ran and broke free by now!" He said as I narrowed my eyes and set him free

Isis gasps "what- why are you freeing him?!" I look at her "he's right, I didn't make the binds too tight to test him of him leaving, and he didn't.." I paused for a moment "and if he does try to leave too early he'll perish.."

She nods as we three start to walk down a path. I hum and look at the sky seeing it's getting dark as we arrived at a graveyard "you two should rest, I'll stay up and keep watch"

Isis takes my arm "no! We can share a tomb!" Gonner takes my other arm "no, you wouldn't want a bunch of her bugs all over ya, share a grave with me lass!" I groan as they argue back and forth

I grab the back of their heads together "that's it, you two sleep I'll make a fire and stay up and keep watch, if I get too tired I'll figure out a place to sleep and if something happens I'll get one of you!" They stay silent but nods in agreement

.:* 6 minutes later *:.

The fire cackles in the silence, Isis went to sleep and gonner went to find more wood. I sit on my knees and sigh "hope your glad mom... Melissa, Dixie.." I stand up and go to a nearby lake and wash my face

I huff and walk back but hears something behind me, I ignore it and continue to walk back, I make it back to see the pirate looking frantically "hey, what are you doing?" He looks back and runs to me

He grips my shoulders "where were ya?!" I push him away "I went to calm myself!" I march to the fire and sit on my knees again

He pulls me back up and holds my arms "you worried me lass!" I try to break free again "why the hell do you care?! We just met anyhow!" He calms down and sits down

I sit down soon after and hum, yawning. He looks over and picks me up "put me down..." he shakes his head

"Nope! Ya be sleeping with me!" I hit his chest light due to tiredness but falls asleep in his arms

Gonner's P.O.V

I smirk and bring her into the same grave as me 'i just gotta get her azoth- no amulet??' I quirk a eyebrow and look around her body but still doesn't find anything

"Odd the only thing I could think of is the azoth is the lass's voice or eyes maybe.." I sigh and see her sleeping face it's cute- no! I can't..I am on a mission for me own freedom!

I yawn 'aye...I better observe her for a while...' I close my eyes and start drifting off into the darkness of the night

I open my eyes hazily to see y/n gone, I crawl out into the bleak sunlight and wince a bit.

I look around but to see nothing, I go into the ashes part of the graveyard, it was a building with spots all over, used for a ash storage for those who didn't want the ashes away from family

I look around but see nothing. I look out but hears whines behind me, finally the sky getting cloudy enough so it's tolerable

I look back to see y/n holding her arm "did ya go in that pure daylight?!" I walk over as she clicks her tongue "I didn't know zombies rot in the sun!"

I move her hand to see but she struggled to move me away "would you please just trust me lass!" She paused for a moment and relaxed as I start to patch her arm up

Y/n's P.O.V

After the pirate finished I walk out, I check the logs and find out the fire gotten put out just now "Isis!"

After a bit she still hasn't came over, I go look around but gonner holds me back "oi..!" He chuckles "aye me lassie, come with me..! I can help..!"

I click my tongue but feels weird "no thanks, you can follow ME" he sighs and nods following me up the trail 'what a weird zombie...'
