Background:
Hakumei Uzumaki was born shortly after the invasion of Uzushiogakure. His mother had died after childbirth, trying to get to safety while still weak from delivering him. His father stayed to defend their country so his only relative was his uncle. The settled in the Land of Redaku and lived a commoner's life.
When Hakumei turned 21, he was high-ranking officer in the royal guard. After an assassination attempt against the King, Hakumei was framed and was forced to flee the country. His uncle helped him escape before meeting his own demise for conspiring against the Royal Family. Since then, Hakumei has been a lone traveler, never settling down in one place. He was found in a brothel by Seiji upon his investigation of the movement of the Atatsuki.
Hakumei was skeptical towards Seiji at first and remained cautious. However, after being taken to the Wave Country and meeting more Uzumaki, he began to believe him and was eager to learn more about his lost clan.
