Tendo povBig, bright hypnotic like (E/C) eyes can be seen staring right back at me. My own eyes jolt open once I realise that the eyes aren't only big but they are close. "A-are you ok?" The voice asks once again with worry lacing their voice. Their eyes filling with obvious worry as they look over my face, seeing the soft bruises already forming from the previous attack. I gulp slightly while looking at their eyes, "y-yeah, I am" I stammer finally realising how close their face is to mine. I think they may have noticed too cause their eyes widened while a red hue covered their cheeks while they jolted back and away.
"T-t-thats good, sorry" finally sitting up I can actually get a view of my surroundings and savoir. In front of me stands a little girl, about my age and height, maybe a bit taller than what I am. Standing there, looking down at her ballet flats with her (H/C) (K/L/H) hair falling to the side of her face as she looks away, her hands are softly gripping the base of her denim blue overalls with a red and white stripped shirt underneath it.
(AN: Kid Length Hair)
After taking in who I'm looking at I stand up. "Doesn't that hurt?" I hear the girl mummers to me. I tilt my head at her my eyes as wide as usual. "What hurt?"
"Your knees?" She's looks at me with a questioning look then back at my knees.
Looking down I finally notice the soft stinging and the growing bruises on my legs and knees, "oh that, no not really?" Looking back up at her I see her eyes widening ever so slightly. "It looks like it does though, we should get you some help" I can hear the growing worry in her voice as she says that. Tilting my head to the side once again "but it doesn't hurt, what's the point of healing it up if it doesn't hurt?". I watched her face change to that of a shocked expression then to one of irritation.
"It will get infected if you don't and that will make it worse and make hurt and no one likes being hurt" her tone softly drops as she puts her bag down and reaches into it, pulling out a napkin and walks over to me.
"What are you doing?" I ask unsure of her actions. She just stands and stares, "sit" a simple demand is all I got in return.
"Huh? I don't wanna." "Sit so I can help" Shrugging I sit on the pavement, taking my bag off and putting in next to me. Looking up I see the girl approaching me and crouching in front of me, looking at my face then at my knee. Reaching for her bag, she sits on the floor and pulls out a water bottle and box of band aids, tipping the water on the napkin and places it on my knee, with me softly hissing at the feeling.
Her eyes slightly widen as she looks over at me, "I'm sorry if it hurts." I just shrug in return watching as she rubs the wet napkin on my grazed knee, quickly reaching and grabbing her jumper from her bag and patting it on my knees, drying them.
Tilting my head at her softly I ask with my usual little smile I have, "what did you do to them?" I have an urge to giggle at how she froze up and blushed, looking away. "threw rocks at them" she uttered oh so quietly, almost didn't hear it if I wasn't focusing.
I let out a laugh, "why?" She looks me dead in the eyes. "Cause bullying is just the act of someone below trying to prove they are something they are not, by taking down those who are actually above others". My eyes widen at the fact that she wasnt lying about it, her face, tone and posture showed that she was being sincere about it. "Plus bullying is just mean" she finishes off while putting some band aids on my knees in little 'x' patterns.
"Oh, thank you" I quietly say as I move my legs a little, feeling the weird texture of the band aids as I do so. "It's ok, it's only the right thing to do and be nice" Looking up I see the girl putting her stuff away and picking her bag up, getting up myself I pick my bag up too. She looks over at me and gives me a wide close eyes smile. "I have to go home now" she opens her eyes and looks at me "umm I never got your name sorry"
Shock. The only thing I could show was shock. All over my face once my brain processed the words she had said and how she said them. She didn't sound sympathetic or rude nor annoyed. She was being sincere. Just who is this (H/C) wonder.
I raise my hand and point a finger at me, "you don't know my name?" Now looking at her I see a twang of confusion in her eyes as she tilts her head softly, "yeah, I've never seen or met you before so, isn't it normal not to know someone's name till they tell you what it is?" A silence falls over us as I stare at her in shock, then softly laughing as I break the silence. "Really?" I watch her as she nods, "really." I put my hand down that was pointing at myself and smile at her "well I'm Tendo Satori, friendly stranger" I beam at her, maybe that will jog her memory. What surprises me is that she smiles and holds her hand out to me, must be happy to talk to a monster? "Nice to meet you Tendo, I'm -" "ATSUKO! There you are!" The random yell causes me to jump and look over at where it came from, the girl looking over as well with bright, joyful eyes. "Nīsan!" The girl yells as her smile widens more seeing the boy approach. Her head then snaps to me making my eyes widen a bit at the speed, "I have to go sorry"
No. Please don't. Your so nice. Looking back over at the man that is only about, let's say ten metres away, with a questioning look. Her eyes follow where I'm looking and she sees it's at the boy then turns back and smiles at me, "that's my brother, (B/N)." Looking back over at her I nod, understanding this kid is not only older than me, but bigger than me. I feel a small smile grow as my lips as my eyes relax back to normal. "Ok then, bye" I watch as her smile grows as she grabs her bag, throwing it on her back, giving me a wave as she runs off to the boy. "See ya Tendo! Nice meeting you!" Is the last thing I hear from her as I watch her walk off with the boy, chatting with each other. I feel a smile grow at my lips at the nice encounter I just had.
Maybe I should get hurt a bit more, might just do me some good.
Putting my bag on my back I walk in the direction where I'm to meet my mum only to turn the corner and see her her worriedly talking to a teacher. Ignoring their conversation I walk over to them with my smile still on my face, "hi mum" I cut her off mid sentence. Her head is quick to jolt over to where I am standing, she sighs in relief seeing that I'm there but is quick to have worry come to her eyes as she rushes over and hugs me tightly. "Satori sweetie! What happened to you?" She pulls back and grabs my cheeks tilting my head to see the already patched up damage that was done, not too long ago. I just smile at her as I turn to the teacher and wave, only to see that the teacher has already left. Obviously knowing I'm back with my mum. Rude much.
I hear my mum sigh as I look over at her to see her shaking her head. "Lets get you home shall we" she says as she stands up and let's go of my cheeks only to grab one of my hands gently. I nod as we walk over to the car, hoping in and placing my bag down as I sit in my chair in the back, I just smile. Softly kicking my legs as I do so, once mum starts the car up and is on the road she speaks. "So how was your day sweetie? I'm guessing bad huh" all I do is smile in return, remaining silent. My silence causes my mum to glance at me through the rear view mirror, "sweetie?" She questions once again. And once again I just smile, wider this time, my eyes squinting at how wide I'm smiling.
"Today was a good day mum, a very good day"

I feel like I should mention this while I'm at it. I'm planning on doing about 4-6 parts maybe of "where it begun" just cuz it is I think key info to know? Oh AND with whatever Japanese words I use they're I'll most likely be from sites that I'm trusting that actually do the right meaning instead of making it the wrong meaning. Hehe. Sorry for anyone that is is learning or knows Japanese. Oh and the name "Atsuko" is said to be Japanese for "kind child"
Oh and (K/L/H) is just something I randomly made up so :p
