Hey, Tsuki!

I looked out the window towards the cherry tree where my childhood best friend was, as the sun started setting. I looked as Tsukishima accepted the confession of an almost complete stranger with a look of disgust on his face. I was honestly a bit shocked and was also having the strange feeling of jealousy for the girl. Tsuki had always been getting love confessions from a young age due to his looks, even though he was an ass towards everyone. He always rejected them, breaking their heart. I felt bad for the person confessing but I was always a bit happy he never said yes.
I walked away but turned around when I heard my name being called by Hinata, "Yamaguchi! Wait up!" I waved towards him,
"Hey, Sho!" I was a weird mix of sadness, anger, and jealousy but hid it behind a smile.
"Why can't you with Tsukishima?" He asked, with a concerned look, noticing how I wasn't happy even though I had a smile.
"Oh, he got confessed to by a girl in Class 2. He said yes, surprisingly, " I chuckled, still trying to hide my feelings.
"Is that why you're sad? Because you like Tsukishima?" He looked up at me, making me question my life and my relationship with Tsuki. I turned red, my freckles despairing as they turned red,
"N-no! We're just friends!" I mean it's nice when he kisses my forehead when I'm down. Or when he curls up next to me in the winter when it's cold outside. Of course, we do this as friends and only friends.
"Mhm, sure, " he responded, suspicious. I opened the door to exit, seeing Kageyama. He looked like he was going to kill Hinata.
"O-oh, hey Kageyama!" Hinta waved at him, nervous that the taller male would start yelling at him.
"I've been waiting for you! I got your bike so let's just go home, " Kageyama rolled his eyes as he handed Hinata the bike.
They started walking home and I was following shortly behind. I started rethinking my views on Tsukishima as I walked back with the other two. We departed after I got to my street, saying goodbye to everyone. I laid in bed, realizing I liked Tsukishima but in a non-friend way.

The blaring of my alarm had woken me up like any other day. I quickly walked to the bathroom where I fixed my dark green hair and contemplated putting makeup on to cover my freckles but ended up not doing it to save time. I sighed as I put on my uniform and got my book bag, not forgetting my homework form the night before.

The morning was nice as I stepped outside, spotting Tsuki waiting for me. I walked over to him, smiling, "Hey! Tsu-"
"Where were you yesterday? I was looking for you," he questioned, cutting me off.
"I'm sorry! I left with Hinata since you looked busy with the girl from class 2," I replied sheepishly.
He relaxed a bit, "Oh yeah. Her name is Shiba Aimi. 𝖲𝗁𝖾𝗌 𝗆𝗒 𝗀𝗂𝗋𝗅𝖿𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗇𝖽, " His tone had a small hint of disgust in it when he spoke about her.
Though I had heard the phrase "she's my girlfriend" many times throughout my life it hurt when Tsuki said it.
"Wow! I'm happy for you," I managed to respond through my fake smile. "Thanks, I guess," he said as he started making his way to school, following shortly behind.

"Tsuki! You have your lunch?" I exclaimed as tsukishima walked into the classroom, a bit annoyed by my volume.
"Keep it down, Yamaguchi," he sounded annoyed, more annoyed than usual. I sat next to him with my lunch and Tsuki with his own. I saw a small movement in the corner of my eye and looked over to see a girl with light green hair and soft freckles on her blushing face sitting down onto Tsukishima's lap. I felt jealousy and anger at the same time but tried hiding it.

"Hey Tsuki!" Aimi yelled out, hugging his neck and kissing his cheek.
"Stop," tsukishima said, responding to Aimi's aggressive affection, "You can't call me that."
I began eating my lunch, trying to distract myself from the awkward situation.
"Tsukishima, how was the English test?" I asked, trying to keep Tsuki's mind off the situation as I saw hat he was also weirded out by Aimi.
"It's fine, do you need any help with it?" Tsuki asked as he started eating his lunch.
Aimi had started eating her lunch with a look of anger.
I smiled at Tsuki, "No, but then-"
"Hey Tsukibabe, could you help me with some math real quick?" Aimi ended up cutting me off, making me a bit mad but it looked like Tsuki was about to commit murder. Why would he be dating her if he hated her more than both Hinata and Kageyama combined?
"Sorry, I struggle with math, " he stated even though he was the best at math and the best at teaching it.
From then on lunch was pretty awkward with none of talking. I tried having small talk with Tsuki but Aimi always butted in and shut us down.
