I wasn't ignorant, I read the room. It was filled with sadness yet joy at the same time. I knew just by the look on my mans face he had not succeeded at his mission to save gia

I owe my life to her, my daughters life and for that I would forever be grateful but right now I had a baby to care for and I couldn't break down no matter how hard I wanted to. I had to stay strong for Koyal and -

"Her hair is so full and curly"My mother says breaking the silence and intruding my thoughts

So here we were standing outside with me in a hospital gown and all of our family beside us as the moon lit up our dark skies

"Gia was a wonderful person and we all knew that, I just wished she did too. But she didn't want us to be sad instead she wanted us to light up these-"I said holding up the pretty lanterns looking at everyone

"Gia was and is the strongest female I will ever know and I'm proud to say, we will carry on her legacy and make sure that those boys always remember her...For Gia"I say before lighting my lantern and releasing it into the sky staring up not making eye contact with anyone as multiple lanterns started to follow mines

"We love you"Mia yelled to the sky before Aless embraced her as they walked back inside the hospital holding eachother while Sofia, Marcus and my mom went as well

"I'm going to go see Isabella"he whispered kissing my cheek as I kept my head held forward trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall

"You put on this front li, and you don't have to"Breana whispers as she approaches me while looking at the lanterns

"I'm fine"I say as if I was trying to convince her but in reality

I only wanted to convince myself

Turning my aching body towards her as anger filled my body

"She left me, and I fucking hate her for that"I screamed while Breana hugged me screaming from the top of my lungs until I felt nothing but numbness and sadness

But this wasn't a normal cry

It was a broken one

The cry that makes you scream yet so silently

The cry that makes you want to disappear and become dust

The cry where everything hits you all at once

"She was suffering and I was to stuck up to see it. I was so blinded by her moving on without me by a choice I made on my own, only for us to grow further apart to the part where we were strangers living in the same house" I muttered while she held me rocking us back and forth

"One life left this world as another came into it, but don't blame yourself for a choice we all made without even realizing it"Breana says before lifting us up

"You broke down like a normal person should, but now it's time for you to get your things together and go take care of that baby that Gia sacrificed her life for"
