CHAPTER 24.

1 WEEK LATER.

*CONRAD POV***
"Damn man Ronnie dont look to good"Harlem said. "I know its like she has no soul" i said sadly.

Its been a week since Ronnie Dad was murdered. Whoever killed him did some horrific shit. They shot him 10 times in all places. They burned him and hung him on a Street light. It affect Ronnie worse because she actually had to see her Dad like that.

For over a week Ronnie wouldnt Eat, she would cry herself to sleep every night in my arms, and she lost herself.

I watched Ronnie stand in front of her Dad's grave and cried her eyes out. The funeral was over an hour ago but she wanted to stay longer.

"we gotta do something for her" Harlem Said. "like what?Whenever i want to do something for her she refuse to do it and shut me out" i said shaking my head.

"Lets take a vacation!" Harlem said. I looked at him confused.

"Bruh you know my dad got that Beach house in Miami we can go there for a weekend and help Ronnie get her mind off her Dad" Harlem said.

"Thats cool with me but i got to talk to Ronnie" i said.

"Alright let me know"Harlem Said pulling Nicki towards his car.

I walked over to Ronnie and hugged her from behind.She turned around and hugged me and cried on my shoulder.

I kissed her cheek and she walked to my car.

Before Monster Died i made a promise to him that i would take care of his Daughter and im not breaking that promise.

Walking to the car i got a phone call from a blocked number.

I answered it and it was a woman.

"Conrad!? This is not over you and that bitch of yours is gonna pay for the damage you done to me!!!" She screamed.

Then she hung up.

Confused i walked to the car debating if i should tell Ronnie about Dani calling my phone of not. But she was still upset about her dad. I figured i'll tell her later.

On the way home i told Ronnie about the couples trip to Miami i wanted us to go on. She had a blank stare on her face but relunctantly she said she'll go.

Once we got home i called Harlem and told him we taking up the offer.

"Alright we packing our stuff now, we leaving tonight" Harlem Said.

"Alright we'll meet yall at the bank around 7:30" i said packing my bag.

"Alright C" Harlem said Ending the call.

***RONNIE POV****
Even though im still hurt about the loss of my dad, this trip should be worth it.

I packed a week's worth of clothes, bikini's and lingerie for Conrad. Im so thankful for somebody like him. He's always there for me when i need him and will do Anything to make me happy.

Once my bag was packed i changed into a all black fitted dress, black kombat boots, and put my hair into a high bun.

Conrad walked in and stared at me.

"Dont even think about it i just got relaxed" i said.

He laughed and kissed my lips.

He sat down on the Bed and pulled me on his lap.

"Do you love me?" He asked.

"Yes i love you.. More then anything" i said honestly.

"Ronnie im in love with you, i understand we been through alot but im happy to have someone like you on my side. You dont have to worry about anything i got you baby" he said.

I cried softly and he kissed my tears away.

This trip is gone be something special. I thought to myself carrying my bag downstairs.

Suddenly i felt real sick.

I took a deep breath and out of nowhere i vomitted all over the front porch.

Idk where that came from but i grabbed the water hose and sprayed it away.

I looked on my period calendar and seen that my period was a month late.

Oh Shit!

Conrad came in the bathroom and looked at me crazy.

"What babe?" I asked.

"You Good?" He asked.

"Yeah im straight" i say walking out the bathroom.

"Can we go now? Tennessee is getting too crazy for me" i said grabbing my purse.

"Yeah bae c'mon" he said setting the alarm.

We drove off to meet Harlem and Nicki at the bank Near the airport.

Once we got there we took enough money out our accounts for the weekend, we bought our plane tickets, and boarded our flight to Miami.

Awaiting what we have in store.
