Meeting You ( A Grant Landis Fanfiction)

Chapter One

*Caleighs POV*

After filming, I put my guitar down, and turned off my camera. I pulled up my long blonde hair into a messy bun. I went downstairs to get something to eat, when I went to the fridge I saw the leftovers were gone.

        “JACOB!!” I screamed my brothers name, knowing it was him that ate them.

        “What sis?” Jacob asked, obviously knowing what I was going to say.

       " Why did you eat all the leftovers??”

        "Why do you think? I was hungry. Duh.” He said.

        "Well can you please go get me some food then?” I asked nice as possible, so he would.

“Yeah sure. What do you want?” Jacob asked grabbing the keys and sighing.

        Just Mcdonalds. My usual please.” I replied. My usual was a ten piece chicken nugget with a medium fry, and frappe.

“Okay Ill be back soon.” Jacob spoke walking out the door.

 

I sighed heavily, then went upstairs to save my cover into my computer. I had all these covers of mine saved but I didn’t have the courage to post them. Being the sister to Jacob Whitesides,  was hard. Jacob had so many supporters and he had an amazing voice. So many people had very high expectations of me. I never  tweet, never post on ig because I’m scared of being judged. If I do post, another problem is fake people. Saying,

“I Love you. How is Jacob?” “You are so pretty.” Just to get closer to him. It is just life  I guess.

 

I closed my computer and walked downstairs to wait for Jacob with my food. Right when I got to the bottom of the stairs, Jacob walked into the house with is arms full of food.

“Thanks Jacob!” I said grabbing my food out of his hands, and walking up stairs to my room.

“Wait! come back here!” Jacob yelled to me.

“Ugh! What do you want?” I asked walking down the stairs.

“Why don’t you ever post your covers?” He asked curiously.

I was completely shocked, I never would’ve thought he would ask.

“I... uh… I’m just scared.” I said shyly.

“ Caleigh, you have an amazing voice, why don’t you just post it! You can’t be scared of people all your life.” Jacob spoke raising his voice a bit.

“I dont know..”

“Just do it..If it doesn’t work out then you can take it down.” Jacob said.

There was a long pause between him and I.

“Fine, Ill do it.” I finally gave in.

“Okay, lets go right now.” Jacob said grabbing my hand pulling me upstairs.

“Wait what?” I said surprised.

Jacob dragged me into my room, and opened my computer. He scrolled through my videos and clicked one.

“They are all great but this one is my favorite.” He said smiling at my computer.

He put a title on it and it said, “Amnesia - A Caleigh Whitesides Cover.” I smiled just thinking about it. I saw Jacob move the mouse over to click the “upload” button. Once he clicked it I felt relieved? I was surprised by my own feelings. I looked over at Jacob smiling.

“Thank you. Hopefully it goes as planned.” I said.

“It will baby sis.” Jacob said softly, while giving me a hug. After waiting a couple seconds, we let go and I walked to my computer to turn it off. I looked at my clock realizing it was only 9pm. I was exhausted so I decided to go sleep.

“Thank you again… Im exhausted so Im going to go to sleep .” I said while yawning.

“You’re welcome..Goodnight.’ He said walking out of my room. I threw on some pjs and slipped into my covers of my bed. I checked all my social medias, making sure I didn’t miss anything important. I put my phone down and closed my eyes. I fell into a deep sleep.
