Meeting You ( A Grant Landis Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

        I woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon and waffles. I walk downstairs to see Jacob, Mama Whitesides and Sierra eating.

“Glad you guys woke me up.” I said rolling my eyes. I grabbed my plate off the counter and a waffle off the plate that was still steaming. I sat down at the table, grabbed the Syrup and started eating. It was completely silent, until my mom started talking.

“So Caleigh, Jacob told me you posted a cover on youtube.”

“Well, Jacob did. He kind of forced me.” I said.

“DID NOT!” Jacob protested. I started laughing at him.

“I think that it is great whoever posted it.” Mom said laughing. I finished my food and put the plate in the sink. I ran upstairs to go get ready. I took a shower and then got dressed.

 

After I got dressed I logged into my computer and decided to go on twitter. Once I logged in I noticed I had thousands of notifications on twitter. Maybe I was over reacting but It seemed like that many. All I could see on my timeline was people saying how great my cover was. My stomach started to flip. I quickly went to youtube to see what was happening. I clicked on my video and saw I had over 1.2 million views. I couldn’t believe it. I went to the comments everyone said it was the best cover they have ever seen. I found myself in tears.

“JACOB!!!!!! JACOB! JACOB!!” I yelled running into his room.

“What?!” He yelled back. I ran to his computer logging in to youtube to show him. I was shaking so bad I couldn’t type it in. I finally showed him with the biggest smile on my face.

“LOOK HOW MANY VIEWS I HAVE ALREADY!”

“HOLY SHIT CALEIGH! THATS FREAKING AMAZING!” He jumped up pulling me in for a hug.

“Thank you for making me post it.” I said softly.

“You’re welcome..again” Him and I laugh and I go back into my room to scroll through twitter. I decide to tweet.

(This is a made up user.) @CaleighWhitesides: Holy crap guys! This is overwhelming! Thanks a ton!!!

 

I look through my mentions and I noticed I got one from my brothers friend, Grant. The tweet said;

@grantlandis: @CaleighWhitesides WOW! That was amazing! Hope to meet you soon!!

 

I couldn’t help but smile. I have heard a lot about him and he seemed liked a pretty nice guy. Also, he was pretty hot.. Which was a great plus.

 

I decide to tweet him back.

@CaleighWhitesides: @Grantlandis Yes! Hopefully we meet very soon!! Thanks for the view on my channel! Lmao. ;)

 

Putting the wink was a risk but whatever. He won’t remember it by tomorrow. I keep looking through my mentions, faving and retweeting tweets. A couple minutes later I got so many notifs with people @ ing me and Grant saying “ I SHIPP!!”

 

I was confused, because the wink wasn’t really a big deal. I went to his account and I saw he replied with;

@GrantLandis: @CaleighWhitesides yeah, yeah, you deserved that view, beautiful. (:

I faved the tweet then decided to log off. I went downstairs to go watch TV for a bit. In the middle of watching “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”  I fell asleep on the couch with a smile..
