23: Is it a date?

I wake up to my ringtone, I pick up and hear a familiar voice "Hi y/n it's Soobin" I sit up and try to wake up "Hi~" I say yawning.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry?" he gasps and I laugh "It's okay, what is it?" I ask and he asks me if I would like to go grab some ice cream with me.

"I would love to, but why me?" he could have asked the other members, "The others don't want to" I can imagine his pouty lips, I smile to myself "Where are you?"

"I'm at my house" I answer his question.

"I'll pick you up" he suggest and I nod "Sure"

[time skip]

"That's the perfect outfit" she says admiring her so called 'masterpiece'

"Kat, you know I don't like skirts" I say through my teeth and she frowns "It's a date! You have to look extra cute" she complains and I sigh "Fine"

At least she didn't put any make up on, a pink skirt and white t-shirt, she isn't even korean and she knows the Korean style better than me.

Soobin calls "Hey y/n I'm under your house"

"I'm coming" I say, put on my sneakers and leave.

Soobin POV

She comes outside and wow she's so cute in that outfit! I wave at her, she waves back and we go.

As we are walking I can feel the awkwardness between us, is it the kiss from yesterday? I break the silence "How did you sleep?"

"When I touched my bed sleep instantly devoured me" she sights and I laugh "same, it was an exhausting day yesterday" I say and she nods in agreement.

After a few minutes we find an ice cream shop and we decide to grab ice cream and sit at a park nearby.

"What would you like?" the man asks "Hmmm, maybe mint choco?" y/n says and I cringe at just the word, she notices and frowns "What?" she complains "Umm, ew? Mint choco tastes like toothpaste!" I say and she shakes her head "No I love mint choco!" she says and I look away "Just vanilla for me" the man nods and scoops two balls of vanilla ice cream.

We sit at a bench and eat our ice cream, y/n seems confused "Is something wrong?" I ask her and she shakes her head "Didn't you love bread?" she asks and I giggle "Nowdays I prefer ice cream" I say and she nods.

Normal POV

This isn't the Choi Soobin I know, how dare he betray bread?! I decide to let it go and continue eating my ice cream.

"So about yesterday..."

I hoped he wouldn't mention about yesterday's event... Well y/n you need to face it now or later.

I don't speak and met him continue "I just wanted to know something" he says and I nod allowing him to proceed "How do you feel about me?" and I thought he was never gonna ask.

"How do you feel about me?" I ask him and he looks up the sky before answering.

"Well to be honest I like you a lot for a while now" I nod "I like you too" he gasps and looks at me "Are you serious?" he asks and I nod laughing "Yes Soobin, I like you" he stays frozen and after a few seconds he hugs me.

"Thank you so much" I pull away and look at him "But we can't be together"

Soobin POV

What does she mean we can't be together?! We clearly like each other very much "What do you mean?" I ask her and she laughs "Soobin you are an idol, you have a very busy life I don't want to burden you" she says and I frown "But we like each other"

"We do, but we just can't" she stands up and smiles at me "thank you for inviting me" and with that she just leaves.

I stay at that bench for god knows how many hours, I just stay there without moving until I hear someone calling my name "SOOBIN!" I don't move but I recognise the voice.

"what do you want Yeonjun?" I ask him as he pants "All of us have been looking everywhere for you!" he says and a 'tsk' leaves my mouth. "Good for you"

Yeonjun POV

After I call y/n she tells me where the park is and I run there, he has been missing since morning and it's 9pm! Is he crazy?!

"Good for you" his words attacked me a little, why is he so mad all of a sudden? I take his hand but he slaps them off.

"what is wrong with you?" I ask him in shock and he giggles while smiling "Nothing" he gets up and leaves, his aura seems dark and angry but at the same time sad and lonely, what could possibly happen?
