Once I got home from being with my friends, i texted Jace. I was so nervous. I really liked him. So, I had no clue what to say.. So, all I said was " hi ". He replied not even 5 seconds later, he said " hey paige! it was so great hanging out with you today! I really like you, and I wanna hang out again, and make sure it's soon. I can't be deprived of the only and only Paige💜😂". I was so happy that I almost couldn't breathe. All I could think about was that if I was dreaming or not. He talked for what it felt like forever. Jace was such an amazing guy, he was down to earth, cute, and he would always try to make these cute witty jokes. He was probably the best thing that had ever happened to me in a while.
The next day, it was Saturday. I woke up to a good morning text from Jace. It said " Rise and shine, Sunshine. We are going on a picnic!"
" now? " I replied.
" Yup. :) Meet me at Rancho Park Mountains at 11am. SHARP!" He said.
So, I went. I got there at about 10:50. When I got there he had already layed out our picnic blanket and basket.
On my way up to the park all I could seem to think about was why he wanted to go on a date with me, the day after he met me? why so soon?
and it was coming up. Right as I sat down. I couldn't help it, i bleared it out and asked.
He told me that time would prevail and I would find out as the time was right. So, I didn't think about it. I continued with our very nice and romantic picnic.
