After we finished our romantically nice picnic he picked up all of his stuff and we slowly walked back to the drop off area, while talking. I had only now found out that 4 months before that, his dad had passed away of cancer. I felt so bad! I had no idea.. I didn't really know what to say, but he had said it was fine. That he was over it by then. Just after that I had asked him what school he went to. He went to Arlington. I go to Arlington. It was weird that I hadn't seen him before.
We got to drop off area where his mom was picking him up. We said our goodbyes, But before I turned away he kissed me. Unexpectedly.. But I kissed back. We stood there kissing for what it felt was forever, but just then his mom pulled up (watched us kiss ) although, she didn't seem like she cared. Right after that, he left.
Only about 5 minutes later my mom picked me up. She seemed upset..
" hey, mom.. what's wrong ?" I asked.
" It's your father Hunny."
" what's wrong with him? "
" mom?"
" mom! please, your scaring me!"
She pulled over to the side of the rode and just started crying. I couldn't make her feel any better if I hadn't known what was wrong.
" mom..?" I asked one more time.
" Your dad cheated on me Paige.. I found a woman's panties in his office and a 7 inch heel." She said.
" mom, I'm so sorry! I wish I could do something. But I'm powerless in that kinda of situations.. but what's gonna happen now? "
" I don't know Hunny." She said.
Right then I had gotten a text from Jace. I read it and didn't reply, Not in a time like this.
