It was 5 o'clock in the morning, dennise woke up with the sound of the rain still falling from the sky and hearing it's sound on the roof of aly's house. It was a great relief for her not hearing any sound of thunder at all but another sound she was able to hear, the sound of aly's beating heart, she just realized that she was laying smoothly on aly's chest, she slowly tilted her head and saw how alyssa was peacefully sleeping. 

Dennise was just staring at aly's beautiful face, this is by far the closest distance she encountered alyssa. She then realized what happened last night, how alyssa covered her ears with the utmost care and sincerity to protect her from the sound of thunder, a smile was painted on den's lips. Slowly den sitted herself still mindfull not to wake alyssa up, once again she was staring at her.

Den: Ang bata basang - basa sa ulan...alam mo..lagi kita noon nung pinapanaginip...I was battling with myself as a child if it was a dream or not...pero I know deep inside of me totoo yun...you existed..Ang laki mo na...(she softly whispered)

She then slowy lifted her hand and caress aly's face, slowly she gently placed her lips on aly's cheeks.

Den: Thank you...bata pa ako noon at kahit ang laki ko na...still you protected me...

Alyssa was still in a deep sleep, it was a first for her to be in that deep of a sleep, like her senses decided to take a day off, she didn't even feel dennise was moving nor staring at her and most definitely did not feel the lips that just touched her cheeks. 

Den surveyed the room, the lights was already back, she saw the candle resting in the coffee table have already melted, she then shifted her gazed to alyssa who was still sleeping soundly on the couch, she was able took notice of something just near her left collarbone, she has only saw it once, and it wasn't as close as this one before.

Den: Why do you have a tatoo ly?....bakit 00002?.....

Dennise even took notice of aly's dog tag around her neck, slowly she grab it and turned it on it's back and there was something written on it, when she was able to read it how her eyes was in disbelief. What she saw engraved on aly's dog tag, she didn't even know if her friends was able to look closely on aly's dog tag.

Den: Pro--project alyssa, 0002, blood type O, E.C ARMY........E.C Army...saan ko ba narinig yan?..bakit napa ka mysteryoso mo ly....(she slowly stood up from the couch and pace back and forth)

Den was in a deep thought, she have heard, seen or even read the initials engraved on aly's dog tag, but the question is where did she heard, or read it. But the best question in her head was.

Den: What does E.C means?....

She decided to leave alyssa for a while, she distinctly remembers her dad will pick her up first thing in the morning, and she need's to freshen up, alam niya naman her dad will bring her some fresh clothes, tama tama naman dahil it was their wash day, so no uniform muna just civilian clothes, she tried searching for the bathroom, ayaw niya naman gisingin si aly dahil ang himbing ng tulog niya.  The first door she opened was actually a storage room it looked like it was mostly commander argos stuff and she opened another door on her left side, it was their garage door, in the corner of ther room she saw a vintage motorcycle that looked like someone is trying to fix it. Dennise decided to open another door in her right.
