Jisoo's POV
There first came Kim Hae-ae, followed by the father Kim Ji-Hoon, then lastly, Kim Taehyung.
"You have got to be kidding me." I unconsciously let out, earning my mom to pinch the side of my stomach.
"Jisoo behave." She whispers into my ear as she continues to plaster on a fake smile as our other company finally decided to sit at their supposed seats.
There he was, Kim Taehyung, the man I worked so hard to burrow in my mind. The man I absolutely wished I had no connections, the man who I willingly gave my virginity to. Vulnerable dumb decisions.
His eyes divert towards my gaze, locking it, as he slowly sits down in front me.
I can't quite tell what he was thinking. His expression was unreadable.
"Omo~ so nice to finally have you here." My mother began.
"Sorry we were late, my husband had a meeting that lasted longer than it should have." The other female replied.
"Omo~ did you lose weight, you looked quite younger last time I saw you!" My mother sucks up.
Ugh their voice was so fake and I could honestly puke right here and right now. I could never quite get used to socialites always sucking up to one another. My mother rarely did that but seeing that the other female in the room was higher in class since Hae-ae's family was richer than my mothers birth family, it only seemed that the hierarchy was already settled in this room.
Rolling my eyes in disgust, I felt another painful pinch from the side of my stomach. Mother, widening her eyes as she tries to signal me to take initiative into my own matters.
Hell. No.
I am Kim Jisoo, I don't bow down to anyone, especially not to that asshole Kim Taehyung.
"Excuse my daughter, she's just had a long day at work. You know being a CEO of the top in the business can be draining to the body."
Immediately my mothers words were quickly responded to by the man I loathed the most in this room. That says a lot as I have a high level of hatred towards my parents as well, but this man just tops them.
