Third Person POV
present - five years later
"Ugh not him again." Jisoo thought.
"Kim Taehyung, Most Successful Male CEO of the Era" Jisoo read as she got off her black car. His billboard didn't have to be right beside her building. Now she has to see his face every morning.
He was a reminder of Jisoo's biggest mistake as a freshman in college. Trying her best to forget everything that had happened that night, one that Jisoo refuses to remember.
The sound of her stilettos making contact with the cold marble floors, a sound Jisoo is quite addicted to. But for others it was a sound great enough to cause sweat to cascade down peoples forehead.
One by one swishing sounds of employers bowing down perfectly in a ninety degrees filled the room, sounds of their large gulps and fast heart rhythms can be heard if you focus hard enough.
"G—good morning Miss Kim. I thought you were still on vacation with Sir Suho?" Yeri, Jisoo's three month secretary. She ran in a frantic, completely startled to hear the news of her boss's arrival.
"He had business to finish here in the city, and I couldn't stand being away from work any longer, so I'm back." Jisoo's pace remains fast, while Yeri struggles to keep up.
In an instant Jisoo arrived in her office, that's the perks of having an elevator specifically for the CEO only. Dropping her Dior bag in her desk, Jisoo elegantly sat down, removing her sunglasses. Jisoo was already signing the papers that laid on top of her desks.
Seconds passed and Jisoo notices the persistent presence of Yeri which irked her. Jisoo locked eyes with her secretary, "Yes?" Jisoo asks before continuing with her tasks.
"Sanjangnim, your mo-mother called earlier to remind you—about your di-dinner tonight.." Yeri stuttered looking down.
Jisoo immediately stopped signing her paperworks and released a loud sigh causing Yeri to flinch in fear. Jisoo slowly fixed her hair before looking at the fragile woman standing far from her.
