Hey my lovely weebs. Um.... I kinda deleted this app, but recently my friend made a story I wanted to read so I downloaded it again and BOOM 800 + views in my face. I do have a plot and all for this story, but it's been more than a year and my writing style has changed a bit. I won't be doing more (pov) and stuff like that (ill also edit my past chapters) but will instead try to be better at writing so you guys will understand who's talking and who's describing things. But yea since there are so many requests and all I won't abandon my story. All feedback is deeply appreciated.

The ringingin Sakura's ears faded in and out of existence. They had been camping nearby a river when the first explosion had happened. Naruto just had gone to do whatever he needed in the bushes nearby when the ground started shaking and then the deafening noise together with the pushing sensation had left her helpless on the ground.
Sakura didn't like explosions but she would guess that even though it was an disadvantage on the battlefields it was still something she was aloud to fear the weapons that took her parents away from her. She vaguely remembered a time where the tiny sounds and flashy lights of them brought her joy. Or maybe the comfort came from the boy who made them to entertain her.
She was too naive back then. Too innocent to even care about their destructive force. The heat that burned down flesh. The blinding light. The destruction of the earth itself. The shrapnel made of plants scratched her skin. she could vaguely feel the warm blood trickling down her ears, as Sasuke told her to stand up god damnit because she was far better than to be beaten by a simple explosion. She wondered if this was what her parent felt before they left this world. Left without even saying good bye.

Sakura woke up with a start. She was lying on a few bushes next to her team mates.
Panic. She'll always deny she almost had a heart attack though. It didn't last long, and she calmed down fairly quickly, once she checked their vitals. Naruto was steady, like he was just in a deep sleep. The fact that he seemed totally heeled even though his appearance was ragged and beaten, was surprising but she'll get what she can. Sasuke was another matter.
When Sakura went to check his pulse on his neck she paused at what looked like a tattoo. Three black commas circling each other like small fish, contrasted the pale (too pale) skin of his neck.
His heartbeat was fast like he was full of adrenaline and his breathing was fast albeit ragged. Almost like in a battle. But he was completely passed out. he should be calmer... who was he battling?
The signs were obvious even to a rookie ninja like Sakura. They had been in a fight... well Naruto and Sasuke had been. She was totally passed out by that explosion in the beginning. Taken out by a single explosion. She was pathetic. These were common in battle. Simple paper sealed with fire. it was so easy to use even genins kept it with them. Jonin ninja ate these thing for breakfast, and she was taken out by a single one.
It had left her completely defenseless. Anything could have been done to her while in that state. Her teammates.. They had done all of the work. Probably extra considering they were the ones who had defended her body, considering she had been... completely useless.
And now they were like this because of her. That thing whatever it was in Sasuke's neck because of her. S-She promised she would be different...fuck fuck. She was supposed to be different. But what was all of her training even worth if she was taken out like that. With the snap of someone's fingers.
Sakura breathed in. Calm down. This is not about you. Calm down and protect them.
Protect them with your life if you have to.
Her eyes became half lidded. Empty. She wasn't looking at their unconscious bodies anymore. She wasn't looking at anything. Sakura always found it easier to focus this way, in contrast to closing her eyes. The darkness behind her lids unnerved her and not being able to see left her feeling vulnerable. She hated that feeling.
And after completing her hand sings she could suddenly see everything.
To a civilian outsider, it would seem as if nothing had changed. Just, a small breeze lifting some dust from the ground.
To a ninja it wouldn't take much to see the blaring chakra that poured in the air.
The pollen of the flowers swinging unnaturally in the rays of light that pierced through the ceiling of the forest.
But to Sakura... well she could see it all. She could feel it all. The leaves, the tree bark, the dirt, the flowers, the life surrounding her.
Sakura... She could almost swear she heard a forgotten name whisper.
She opened her eyes.
"Come out. I know you're there. I know where you are. All of you."
A figure stepped forward.
"It's not really a surprise you found me out. I wasn't really trying to conceal my presence. But it would be stupid of you to think that my teammates would reveal their presence just because you said you knew it." the heavily bandaged boy said.
Sakura didn't know his name, but she didn't need to.
"HEY DON'T YOU DARE UNDERESTIMATE ME! LOOK AT M-"
Her eyes flashed a cold green as she spun around and glared at him. So did the weird specs in the air and the two other ninjas (kids) that were hiding in the trees fell down.
dead
In the same time the one she was staring at felt all of his energy sucked out of him right towards the middle of his chest, where his lungs were.
"W-what did you d-"
"Don't ask stupid questions. You already know. You should also know that you'll be joining them soon if you have any common sense left in you. Now tell me, who was the one who ambushed us."
The genin gasped. Even though he was a good distance away from her, he couldn't run, he wouldn't make it... but even if he could it wouldn't matter. He had failed.
"I'll never betra-hck" quickly and quietly a white snake crawled out of his sleeve and wrapped around his neck. A sickening crack was heard and a heartbeat later the boy's body fell to the ground lifeless.
Sakura stared as the thin reptile unwrapped from the enemy's neck. It's eyes almost glowing yellow on the shadowy forest.
The snake's eyes pierced through her entire body.
"You were the one, weren't you. You hurt them... Why leave me alone?"
Not unexpectedly she didn't receive an answer as the snake crawled away into the ground.
Sakura stayed still for a few more heartbeats before ungracefully getting up. The explosion really did a number on her body. She was lucky the ninjas were too stupid (inexperienced they're kids.. just like she was), to inhale an obvious as day jutsu. If they hadn't she'd be clearly outmatched. Explosions really are no joke. How the jonin shake them off so easily she had yet to learn.
Limping she walked up to their bodies and started robbing them for the scroll.
That's when he started to scream.
Sasuke...
