"It's a boy!" The chief of the eagle clan said walking out of the hospital tent. Everyone in the clan cheered knowing that they had a future chief. Then a female walked out carrying the child. "Where is my wife?" Asked the chief. "I'm very sorry sir, she passed away after giving birth. Her last word were wishes to her child." Said the lady. The chief started crying. Imagine a thirty-seven year old man, which is pretty old considering most people only live until 45, crying.

"Let me see my son," he said holding his arms out taking the child. He stared deeply into his sons bright yellow eye. One bright yellow eye you ask? The other eye was crystal blue. "Nurse, why does my son have the mark of he shark?" The chief asked. "I don't know sir, it's the first one in over 100 years. Having the potential of two beasts, hasn't happened in years," said the nurse.

Then someone yelled from the guard towers, "Sir! The ape clan is climbing the tree!" The tree. The tree is, as said, a giant tree. But it wasn't just giant as you might think, it is HUGE. It hold a whole giant city atop for the Eagle clan. Now the eagle clan is being attacked.

"Nurse, take my son. Hide him away until the battle is over," the chief told the nurse and gave her his son. "Yes sir," she replied and and ran to the main hall at the trunk of the tree. "All who can use beasts follow me, those who can't, arm yourselves, this is going to be one hell of a battle!" He shouted as the ape clan got the the top of the tree and the two clans ran at each other.

:)

The dust had settled. Hundreds of men and women of both clans lay dead on the wood ground. Only one sound was heard, a baby crying. "Calm down little one, you're okay," said the nurse. "I know I'm not your mother, but I want you to have this, as a piece of her. She said that if anything were to happen to her, to give it to her child. You probably can't understand me right now, but just know that your mother and father love you. " she then took the necklace with an eagle on it and put it around the child's neck. Then she took her final breath, and passed on to heaven.

The baby then cried out for 5 hours. Something happened that day that no one can explain, but the boy was found a little while later in the pigeon clan. Luckily he was found there. They are the peacemakers, and a nice family took the baby in and named him Charles, but people called him Charlie.

Charlie grew up not knowing of his past, and being ridiculed for having his eyes, or the markings, of his people. But, he got ridiculed more for having two markings. Being bullied in school, not having many friends, except for his brother, Edward, and his sister, Tara, and then not being able to control his beast very well.

:)

"Throw the ball here Eddie!" Shouted a kid as Edward passed the ball to his friend. Charlie sat on the porch staring at the two playing games, wishing that he could play too. But then that boy would leave and Edward would have to play with him. "Hey Charlie come play with us," said Edward. Then his friend whispered to him and walked away. Back home.

(Ok it's easier for me to write in first person, so yeah. I'm going into Charlie's POV)

I watched as I caused another friend of my brothers to leave our house. I hate being the way I am. My mother told me that I was born into a different clan, but she can't tell if I'm part of the shark clan, or the dead eagle clan. She says it's because of my eyes. The eyes of everyone else here is grey but my eyes are two colors. The left eye is Crystal blue, the mark of the shark clan, and the right eye is bright yellow, the mark of the eagle clan.

"I'm sorry Edward," I said. "For what? For me wanting to play with you and him leaving? He just had to go," said Edward. He lying to save my feelings. I guess I could consider it an act of kindness. "Come on, mom said that she's making fruit salads," he said and ran inside.
