Chapter 3

-

Apollo Justice POV:

Now it was just me and Kristoph. Alone. I watched as he began to sweat a slightly however he wiped most of it with a spare handkerchief. I expected Kristoph would recognize what the prosecutor said so I decided to ask. "Mr. Gavin, what exactly did Klavier say a few seconds ago?" He took a good look at me with a heart stopping glare and afterward turned away laughing to himself. "Gracious Justice, wouldn't you like to know. Klavier recently expressed that life was worthless, there's nothing more to it." My eyes widened in disgust and I yelled back, "Quit taking this so lightly! This is about your brother, Klavier Gavin!" His pushed up his glasses, "You know Apollo, in the event that you truly care about my foolish little brother for what reason didn't you follow him?" His grin was back and he proceeded, "There is no use attempting to accuse me, I have nothing to do with this. Maybe if you didn't invest your energy hollering perhaps you could've found him."

How can he say all that so calmly? I mean he used to be called 'the coolest defense in the West' for a reason. I'm almost certain that Klavier wasn't crying because of me and due to the extreme development of stress over the previous year managing Daryan and Kristoph. I feel terrible that I was the person who put them in prison. I took Klavier's dear friends and family away from him. Maybe it was my fault. Maybe Klavier is broken because of me. It would make sense after what he said to me.. The words "Don't come closer.." play in my head while trembling Klavier pushes backwards into crates.

Maybe it is my fault... All I know is that I have to make sure that the blonde rockstar is safe and sound.

"Apollo are you now just acknowledging what yo-" before he could finish I run down the dark corridor back to the lobby. I understand what I must do. I understand who I should save. I can't let Klavier handle all this alone.

I run out the front entryways of the Central Prison and go to my bicycle that is currently flipped on its side covered in downpour. I forgot to carry a coat to wear when I came so the rain soaked my new red suit. I head out into the road looking for the rockstars address when I notice a telephone booth not very far away. I wasn't intending to use the phone I just used the booth as shelter from the rain so I don't catch a cold.

I'm almost certain I have prosecutor Gavin's phone number so I flip open my phone uncovering my humiliating Gavineers wallpaper. I look through my contacts scanning for Klavier's name. Close to the bottom I see the contact 'Glimmerous Fop 💜' I laugh at the name that I put on here when I originally got his number that day and choose to check through our messages. I scroll and see a few pictures of his concerts and some little chat hear and there yet I come to see a text that was 2 months back saying "if you ever need to come over herr forehead here is my address xxx xxx ja" I squeal in excitement.

I hop back onto my bike and cycle all the way to the home. It must of took more than 30 minutes to arrive because my legs were weak and cold. when I arrived I see a huge mansion that had the prettiest blossoms at the passageway and huge gate following with a pebble walkway. I'm not exactly sure how rich people live so I was new to everything. The enormous gate was open as though he was expecting me so I welcomed myself in and strolled down the way with my bicycle next to me. At last I make it to the front door. I search for a doorbell and when I discover one I press it. A little tune plays. It was the Gavineers most well known song. Guilty Love. I chuckled softly and sat tight for the rockstar to open the door and to my surprise he did.
