The rest of the day went like a normal school day, but today y/n can't take her mind off the new kid. God y/n stop thinking about him he's nothing but a classmate, "yeah nothing but a classmate" she mumbled to her self while walking to the cafeteria.
"Y/N!" A loud scream could be heard from miles away, the tall girl walked towards her friend, Lilly. "God lilly why are you so loud, i feel like my ear drums are gonna burst" she scold her friend while rubbing her ear. "Y/n stop being a drama queen it wasn't even that loud" Lilly retorted while rolling her eyes. They went to get some food and sat down on the table where they always do.
"Ugh, why is the cafeteria food always so gross" Lilly complained while pushing her tray of food away from her, "tsk, who's being a drama queen now" y/n murmurs while rolling her eyes.
"Girll, check it out isn't he cute" Lilly whispers while pointing at a certain someone. "Ew, no he isn't" she said while looking at Jungkook sitting alone, a disgusted look displayed on her face. "You know him?" The other girl asked, turning her head to look at her best friend.
"Just a new kid in my class" y/n answered uninterested "bet i could date him before you do" Lilly blurted out, grabbing all of y/n's attention "what?" She asked, confusion written all over her face. "C'mon it'll be fun!!" "You mean playing with a boy's feelings would be fun?" she raised an eyebrow on her.
"Tsk, don't act like you don't always do that" lilly answered "no i don't it's just un-" "what're y'all doin'?" Y/n's words was cut by a deep voice, with a hand showing up and stealing her strawberry milk. "Hey, that's mine tae give it back!" She yell to the black haired guy who stoled her milk, he was already sipping up the whole carton.
"Ugh whatever you can have it" she said while rolling her eyes, "well someone's in a bad mood" taehyung sat down beside her. "Stfu tae you're so annoying" she puffed out annoyance visible in her voice. "Damn girl, are you on your period or something?" Y/n just glared at Tae, while he raised his hand in defeat.
A few seconds of awkward silence went on "So do you agree on the bet y/n?" Lilly said breaking the awkward tension. "What bet?" Taehyung asked curiosity lingering on his voice. "No I don't, and you don't need to know what bet it is" y/n said while pointing her fork towards tae. "Awhh, c'mon plaeseee" Lilly begged while showing her puppy doe eyes. "No, why would i even do th-" "i'll give you 3 TXT albums if you win" Lilly said trying to get y/n to agree. "Okay I'm sold" she answered without hesitation "I'm still confused" taehyung interfered, wanting to know what the girls were talking about "don't tel-" "y/n and i bet on who can date the new kid first"
Taehyung's mouth made an 'o' shape while nodding "are you that bored or something?" He asked while playing with the straw of his milk. "Owh just shut up you thief " y/n blurted out still feeling annoyed that he stoled her milk. "Okay fine I'm gonna buy you a new one, god" he said while standing up to buy a new carton of strawberry milk for y/n.
Tae's PoV
I just bought y/n a carton of strawberry milk, heading back towards their table, "damn, watch where you're going" tae said while looking at the boy who bumped him, the boy looked up at tae and apologized "wait are you new here?" he asked the boy "umm yeah i just moved from busan" he answered, feeling a bit awkward "ahh, I'm Kim Taehyung what's your name new kid?" Taehyung pulled his hand out to do a handshake "jungkook, i'm jeon jungkook" jungkook answered while shaking his hand. "Okay see ya' later bro" the black haired boy said while walking away.
Third person PoV
Reaching the girls table again, i sat beside y/n giving her the strawberry milk. "so, who's the new kid y'all are betting on?" the boy asked hoping it wasn't that Jungkook kid. "it's no-" "it's jungkook" Lilly cutted y/ns word, earning a slap from y/n in return "ow, what was that for?" she asked to y/n while rubbing her arm.
"why, that Jungkook kid tho?" Taehyung asked a little concerned about Jungkook. "because y/n knows him" Lilly said facing taehyung "no i don't he is just a random new kid in class" the other girl said sipping up her milk. "don't you wanna do that to someone else, cause that jungkook kid looked kind of... naive" Taehyung said, earning a questioning look from y/n "you've met him before?" she asked, full of curiosity.
"yeah, he buped me while i was getting your drink" he answered, Lilly instantly looked at him "WAIT REALLY?!" "you're so loud i swear" tae told her, while indicating her to lower her voice. "Oh yeah sorry, but you did? Wasn't he cute?" Lilly asked again, lowering her voice while thinking about Jungkook. "yeah, and I still look better than him" Taehyung said while winking at the girls, as they faked throwing up in return.
Time skip
The school bell rung indicating that it's time for student to go home. While walking towards her locker y/n saw Jungkook doing the same thing should i make a move on him now? She thought and to her luck his locker was beside hers. "Hey, Jungkook right?" She asked facing the tall boy, he looked at her and nodded his head.
"So um.. sorry about earlier" the brown haired girl said feeling a bit awkward. "Y-Yeah, no worries" he said while shoving his books in his bag, ready to walk away "wait, maybe we should um.. hang out sometime" y/n said hoping he would agree. "U-uhh yeah s-sure" the boy said facing her, a tint of pink blush spreading on his cheeks. "How about tomorrow after school at xxx cafe" y/n said smiling at him. "umm o-okay" Jungkook said walking away, ready to go home.
Damn, I doubt he would actually come
