" Y/n what are you and JJ doing?" Kie says and laughs with Pope, probably because of the fact that I'm feeding JJ and that we have aprons on us.

John B on the other hand just stands there observing me and JJ with a confused gaze.

"We-we were cooking" I say with a slight blush on my cheeks while I open the door to let them in.

"Of course you are" Pope says while grinning at us.

I role my eyes in response to Pope.

"Wanna come in and eating our home cooked meal?" JJ asks proudly.

"No thanks" Pope chuckles.

"We actually came here to check if everything was okay with JJ and his injuries" John B says harsh looking at JJ

"But seems like everything is fine" he adds quietly with an annoyed expression.

Why is John B acting so weird, I hate when he does that.
Like can he just spit out what annoys him and not always act like he's pissed off and not saying what him bothers.

There is now an awkward silence between us.

"Oh and there is a party at the beach tonight to celebrate the beginning of summer" Kie suddenly speaks up.

"We thought that you and JJ would probably want to come right?" Kie adds

"You know who you're taking to?, free beer and hot chicks, of course I'm coming" JJ smirks but looks over to me for a short second giving me a guilty look.

I feel this hurting ache is my chest. Again. I know I shouldn't  feel jealous when he does things with other girls but I don't know, I used to be the only girl in his life and now ... I'm still the only one he cares about but it just hurts seeing him with them.

"Well I'm not coming" I slowly start.

"Why?" John B asks now looking at me.

Kiera looks at me with an amused face because she knows exactly why.

" B-because it didn't end well at the last summer party, don't y'all remember when Kie and I had our .."
I paused for a short second because it is an embarrassing and kinda sensitive topic for me and also Kie.

"had our kook time and I drank a little too much  that night and there were those weird guys and well I can't really remember" I add looking to the ground as my cheeks reddened.

"But we'll watch out for you, I don't even drink except one beer maybe" Pope says and gives me an assuring smile.

"Right, I'll protect you" JJ says putting one arm over my shoulder.

"We watch out that there won't be some creeps around you and Kie" John B says smiling at the both of us.

"Thanks I really appreciate the but I don't know yet"

"Come on, don't be so boring. It's going to be fun. I promise" Kie says her voice filled with excitement.

"I'll think about it and text you to say if I'll come, alright?"
