As a surprise you all, I'm finally back to this account! I'm going to be starting an entirely new set of books that I've been thinking of. Now that I've regained my account, this will only be a prologue. I will most likely update next Wednesday and set up a schedule.

Also, I cannot use conversations or messages. So this is a little hint to just comment on my books!

Thanks guys! I can't wait to reopen my imagination and begin writing again!☺️❤️

The sound of shoes clacking from across the hall became a slow habit. Cliffton Fischbach couldn't help but worry, his mind filled with doubt.

It had almost been eighteen hours since his wife's water broke. They had been expecting the birth of their second born son for months. They tried their best to set up a perfect life for their first child. He felt disappointed as it was already hard enough to gain a good job for them to even receive a decent lifestyle.

"Me. Fischbach?" A soft but firm voice came from behind him as he turned around. He then saw a young male nurse, he stood quaintly as he smiled at the young man.

"Yes? Is there something wrong with my wife?" He asked, a face of concern soon hitting him as his mind filled with bad thoughts.

"O-oh! No! Your wife and your son are in good condition. I just came by to let you know that you may see your wife now. She may be out of it but she'll be better after her rest." He said as he gestured for Cliffton to follow.

Cliffton, sighing with relief as he attempted to fix his composure, quickly followed as he stepped inside the hospital room. His eyes glancing around before stopping as they laid on his wife. A smile forming on his face as he sat down next to the bed that held his sleeping wife as he rested.

-

An hour or so had passed as Cliffton's eyes slowly opened. He wiped his eyes and hair out of his face as he sat up and groaned. The feeling of Sunok's hand resting on his hair made him smile as he looked up.

Soon to see her holding their son, the tv in the room flashing between shows as he chuckled. His hand gliding across his son's cheek.

"What should his name be?" Sunok asked, an excited smile on her face, the obvious thought of her having a list of names making Cliffton laugh.

"Well how about Thomas?" "We already named our first son that!" Sunok laughed before looking down at the boy. A glow of hope growing within the both of them as she spoke.

"Mark. Mark would be a perfect name." Sunok smiled as she cradled Mark in her arms. Cliffton smiled, "That is a lovely name."

-

It had been about 5 months since Mark's birth, Thomas didn't take an easy introduction to his new brother until they began to play in the backyard while their parents stayed inside.

Cliffton sat down in the living room with a doctor as gloom seemed to fill the room and spread through the house.

Sunok sat in on the deck of their home, giving her a view of her children as she smiled every time they waved at her.

"I don't understand. Mark has a condtion But he seems perfectly fine." Cliffton said, his voice filling with stress and hurt as the words that left the doctor's lips worried him more.

"I know this is hard to take in, Mr. Fischbach, but it is true. Mark has a condition that is still rare in this world." Prof. Simmons said. "This condition has become a mystery to me and my fellow workers has fought to study. We're kindly asking you to let us borrow your son so we can learn more about it." Prof. Simmons asked.

"I am not sacrificing my son over a science experiment." Cliffton said, "Go find some other child."

"But you've seen what this condition can do, don't you see what this condition can do? It's bad enough that this condition can lead to falsely making him a suspect in any crime that involves a person of his face. I suggest with such high hopes that you just let us test him."

Cliffton's eyes continued to fill with fear as he listened to Prof. Simmons words. This condition was new, but it kept leading to bad results. He didn't want to ruin his child's life.

"I'm sorry, Professor. I wish you luck on this project. I may help by giving insight on his life, but I will not give up my son." Cliffton said, Sunok walking in and setting a hand on his shoulder.

"I will take your word on it, Cliffton. We will be sure to get back to you if we here any news about it." Simmons said, soon standing up as a group of men in suits soon followed after him.

As fast as the tension had built itself in that room, it went away just about as fast as the professor was moving to leave.

As Prof. Simmons reached for the door handle, a pant of guilt and fear hit Sunok in the chest. Turning and kissing Cliffton's head before rushing towards Simmons as she clutched onto his arm.

Simmons soon turned his head, minor confusion filling his eyes as he raised a brow at the woman. "Is there something you need, ma'am?" He asked, sighing with relief as it was no threat.

Sunok was a lovely woman, only hoping for Mark to have a bright future when he grows up. All she hoped for was that her children could grow up to be amazing.

"I'd just like to ask, what does this condition even do to him? Is there some kind of way that we can fix this? What is it even called!?" Sunok whispered loudly, tears clouding her eyes as she wiped her eyes.

Simmons frowned, soon looking away for a minute as he couldn't help but think about it as he felt uneasy about talking to a sad mother.

"This condition affects him in many ways, one of them leading to insanity and even depression. A most common result has been dissociative identity disorder. It leads to minor aches in the brain. He could even end up being criminalized. Of course the name of this condition is rather simple."

Sunok frowned and held back her worries as she held herself up. Not wanting her children to see her so sad as they passed her in the hallway, a side glance coming from Mark as they left to their room to play.

"Some people mistaken it for a doppelgänger, some is Mult. Personality disorder."

"Instead, we believed ᄅ FACE is a rather befitting name."
