Previously on 2 FACE...

"Why's that?"

"It's just that a...dear...friend of mine is-"

Soon Felix had interrupted as the sound of him yelling from downstairs echoed around the house.

Mark giggled and turned towards the door and walking out, Jackal following after with a smug look on his face.

Jackal continued to spy on Mark, his eyes switching from each detail...his face, his eyes, his voice, down to the way he walks....

...yer a spitting image of 'em...

Mark sat awkwardly between the two other men. From how Felix described Jackal, he never expected him to be so menacing.

Jackal had an odd, yet terrifying aura to him. It was like one glare from him would make your heart skip a beat.

As the three of them sat down at the dining table, both Mark and Felix shared glances before noticing Jackals eyes stay on Mark.

"So....how has everyone's day been..? I mean...aside from the fact that a few murders have been going around..."

"A few? You really don't know your way around this place do you?"

Mark sighed and turned towards Jackal, his mind going elsewhere as he couldn't figure out what the brown haired man was trying to say.

"There's been at least three murders every week. That means 12 murders every month. It's been 5 months..."

Mark froze.

60 murders? How have they not caught the killer yet...?

"I'm surprised, the police haven't even figured out that all those murders are from the same group of people. Luckily for The Company, I've already figured it out."

"Jackal! I told you to not talk about that!"

Mark froze once again, his eyes widening as he opened his mind to the possibility.

There's more than one person doing this? Why am I even here? I should've stayed home...

"It's nothing to worry about really. They just kill criminals, they act like they're vigilantes or something."

It became very clear that Mark wasn't safe, his mind going through waves of different thoughts and emotions as he went into a minor panic from all of the stress.

After a few minutes of Felix calming him down, he ignored their conversation as he took a few more bites of his meal before finishing.

The warmth of the pasta flowing through his body as he felt a bit better. Soon wiping his eyes and yawning quietly as he sighed.
