I stand there Shocked at what I just heard, I never knew they were dating let alone thinking about marriage! I stare at Dad. “Well sweetheart I was dating her when i went to Sydney for my work and you got left with Aunt Christa. I’m going upstairs don’t even try to talk to me!
I’ve had it what a horrible end to what I thought would be the best day of my life. So now I’m going to be forced to talk to Laura who will be my mom eventually. She knocks on the door, A rush of panic runs through me and i start to shake a little. “Uh come in” I say with my voice shakey.
Her blue eyes soften “Isobel I’m really sorry that you didn’t know before now about me and your dad and I’m especially sorry that you never knew that I was pregnant and I honestly thought he had told you girls. She bites of a nail; I wonder how Rose will take it. “Anyway darling I’m genuinely sorry about all this I know it was all a shock to you, I know you don’t want this to happen but I would really love your support can you please support me and Jack”? I sigh as she was so nice, I gave in. “Okay” I reply Laura looks relieved “Thank you Isobel” Now this might be too soon but would you like to meet your sister”? I smile “I would love to; hopefully she is nicer than Rose is as a sister!” Laura smiles “I’m sure you will love her I will go bring her up I’m sure she’s excited to meet you
